I’m suuuuper late getting on the chili crisp bandwagon, but it absolutely MADE this dish! No recipe, just dumped… but here are the approximate instructions: sautée 2-3 cloves of garlic and 1/3 cup chopped white onion in 2 tablespoons of sesame oil (medium heat for a little bit). Add 1/3 cup pine nuts, sautée a bit to release their nuttiness. Add 1/4 cup bacon bits (I slacked off and used prepackaged) and stir it up a bit. Add 1 pound shaved Brussels sprouts and 2 tablespoons chili crisp, and cook until sprouts are crisp tender. You still want a little crunch! Between #oldmanroebuck and I, we ate nearly the whole bowl. #recipe #brusslessprouts #supper #sidedishrecipes #roebuckfarms by @roebuckfarms

One of the easiest things to grow and can: banana peppers! Regardless of heat and neglect, our banana peppers are always prolific. I pickle them with a mustardy vinegary brine and water bath can them. You could also quick pickle them in the fridge. Eat straight out of the jar, on sandwiches, paninis, pulled pork, and more! #roebuckfarms by @roebuckfarms

💚🩷This little bubby is a great garden helper, in her pjs and flip flops, rocking her (24/7) bed-head. She picked all of our peas (the plants were mostly dead) and the last of our broccoli yesterday while the morning was cool. We enjoyed a little stray rain shower, and afterward, the backyard neighbor girl came through the gate to play.🩷💚 #roebuckfarms by @roebuckfarms

💚🥬💚Has it really been almost three years (?!) since I posted to this account?! I was telling my bestie @allysonbittner the other day that this account used to bring me so much joy… until it started to feel like a chore and wasn’t fun anymore. But as I was browsing my old posts looking for a recipe, I was reminded of the joy this space once brought me… and I need a creative outlet these days to add a little color, calm, and clarity to my life. So I’m going to give it a shot. And we’ve go so many improvements and fun updates to share, including a new furry family member! For now, please enjoy this mass of delectable buttercrunch lettuce. Loving the cooler evenings that have kept our greens from bolting!💚🥬💚 #roebuckfarms by @roebuckfarms

Where did the weekend go?! We had a full weekend with a slip’n’slide birthday party for our special 6 year old and Father’s Day fun for #oldmanroebuck, and it was a blast! Capped it off with steaks and summer cocktails last night. New fave: blackberry basil mojitos. #blackberrybasil #summercocktails #cocktails #pationights #alfrescodining #gardentoglass #happyfathersday #roebuckfarms by @roebuckfarms

Impromptu herb harvest… makeshift basket! Sweet mint, oregano, and English thyme. Mint went straight into cocktails, thyme and oregano are hanging to dry in the kitchen windows. #herbgarden #verticalgarden #backyardgarden #roebuckfarms #gardentoglass #harvest by @roebuckfarms

Picked what might be the last of our strawberries before today’s monsoon… sad too see them dwindle, but have a couple of bags frozen to enjoy later—and maybe make some jam! #strawberryseason #backyardgarden #strawberry by @roebuckfarms
