I’ve been carrying something heavy for a long time, and most people had no idea. While I was DJing, making music, laughing, and showing up for others. I was also fighting a court case for 5 years in silence.

I kept it to myself because I didn’t want to be treated differently. I didn’t want pity. I didn’t want judgment. I just wanted to live life, create, and keep going, even with all that weight on my back.

But now things have come to a point where I have to face time at the end of August. It’s not easy to say that, but l believe in being real with the people who support me. I’m still the same person, still Roedayo, just someone who’s been holding a lot behind the scenes.

I’m not perfect. None of us are. But l’ve grown. l’ve stayed solid. And I still have love for this life, for this art, and for the people who’ve been riding with me.

So I’m sharing this not for attention, but for truth. If you’ve ever smiled through something that was breaking you inside, I see you. That’s strength too. I hope when people hear this, they don’t judge me, they just understand. This is part of my story, but it’s not the whole story.
