Still needs a bit of work to make it feel more ‘homely’ but this is definitely one of the cosiest rooms in the house.
Slides 2 & 3 show a fairly ridiculous before and after 🥹

Indoor outdoor living!
Incredibly overdue job complete today, tired outdoor fence replaced with new slatted fence & return for a BBQ…

Reminiscing through old photos of the house and I found these that show the kitchen from start to finish.
The aim for this was to create a ‘social kitchen,’ and whilst it was a-lot of work, and slightly terrifying to rip down a wall within the first week of ownership, I like to think I’ve achieved that aim.

Speechless and beyond belief.
Had all carpets installed today, and it’s pulled everything together so very well.

A flat out weekend in preparation for carpets on Tuesday!
Slide 1: Utility backsplash tiled in the kitchen to mirror the opposing wall.
Slides 2 - 3: Lounge and master bedroom blackout curtains hung.
Slides 4 - 5: Spare bedroom walls, ceiling and skirting all prepped and painted.
Slide 6: Master bedroom wardrobe door finished, complete with a false removable end door to access the boiler - its a talent! @williamlloydgardenstructures

Lots going on recently!
Slides 1-4: Upstairs landing. Custom oak banister frame and toughened glass in place, it opens the whole area up when you compare it to a few months ago.
Slide 5: Downstairs under stair cupboard door, doorframe, sanded, painted, hung and finished. Plus my oak wine rack is in place (edges still need finishing.)
Slides 6-8: Master bedroom walk in wardrobe. Still a lot to do but it’s definitely come a long way. Wardrobe cupboard built on the right hand side and mid rail in place - watch this space!
Slide 9: The very last room to be plastered. The office / spare room now needs fully decorating in time for carpets this coming Tuesday🤩

Action stations!
Slides 1 & 2 - Shelf & storage area built with left over oak from the kitchen, ta! @williamlloydgardenstructures
Slides 3, 4 & 5 - Spare bedroom wall battened, insulated and plaster boarded. Hard to believe that wall had no insulation previously…
Slides 6, 7 & 8 - TV’s up in the lounge and kitchen

A busy few weeks!
Upstairs bathroom is really coming together now, mirror, vanity, shower head and glass screen have all been fit recently.
Oak banister fit last night.
Downstairs loo corner vanity in and boxing for the cistern has started.
Upstairs master bedroom, started skirting and finally got the floorboards back in.
Swipe all the way right for the makeshift work shop in the spare bedroom😂

A busy bank holiday weekend🤩

One very productive birthday weekend🤩
Kitchen backsplash is now tiled, all flooring is now done and the first few plinths are on.
Also started to populate some of the shelves and make it feel a touch more homely.

Lots of new lighting recently - under the kitchen cabinets & spotlights in lounge.
Got the new insulation & floor down in the lounge today too, just needs skirting now 🔨🤩
