A big thank you goes to Magnus Wik Sylte, the son of a good friend of mine, who helped make this signing possible. Magnus is coached by Per and is an exciting young talent currently playing for Rosenborg 2. With the qualities, attitude, and dedication he shows, he has every opportunity to go far in the game.This shirt comes from one of Hertha Berlin's most successful seasons in recent history. During the 2016/17 Bundesliga campaign, the club secured a 6th-place finish and qualified for European competition. Per was a key part of that team and one of its leaders during a period when Hertha re-established itself among Germany's top clubs.In my opinion, Per Skjelbred remains one of the most underrated Norwegian players of his generation. While many fans in Norway remember him for his time with Rosenborg and the national team, his reputation in Germany was exceptional. Over more than 170 appearances for Hertha Berlin, he earned immense respect for his professionalism, leadership, work ethic, and consistency.
