New release, new flavor.

We’re teaming up with @cookingwithamy and @roguecreamery to try BluZu — a blue cheese infused with yuzu-infused sake.

Yuzu is a Japanese citrus somewhere between grapefruit and orange, with a bright, lemony tang. You can even spot little pieces of yuzu skin on the rind.

Inside, it’s a creamy, classic blue cheese, while the yuzu coating stays on the outside, adding a bright citrus note to each bite.

It’s also a milder blue, making it a good option if you’re newer to blue cheeses or if you like pairing a little sweetness with your cheese.

If you love a classic steakhouse wedge salad, you need to try these Wedge Salad Crostinis — basically all the best parts of a wedge salad turned into the ultimate wine bar snack and party appetizer.

Crispy toasted baguette layered with a shallot tomato jam (inspired by Normal Food — major shoutout because her recipe is SO good), thick-cut bacon, paper-thin iceberg lettuce, fresh chives, and Rogue River Blue from Rogue Creamery.

And if you know, you KNOW about Rogue River Blue. It was named World’s Best Cheese at the World Cheese Awards and has this incredibly rich, creamy, slightly fruity flavor that makes these taste extra luxurious.

The tomato jam is also such a good way to use those last beautiful tomatoes of the season — cook them down with shallot, balsamic, a little sugar, salt and pepper until they’re sticky, sweet and savory.

Today, on the Autumnal Equinox, Oregon-based Rogue Creamery celebrates the release of the 2026 vintage of Rogue River Blue. 🍂🧀

Hand-wrapped in locally harvested grape leaves and aged with pear spirits, this one-of-a-kind cheese has earned international acclaim, from being crowned World Champion at the 2019 World Cheese Awards to receiving the prestigious Gran Cincho de Oro at this year's Cincho Cheese Awards.
