I used a 5 gallon bag so it gets a 2500cc oxygen absorber. But it really is that easy!

Even if you have water that you can collect and purify, that all takes time and effort (we’ve been there), so it should be part of your plans and you should have an idea of how it’ll get done and how much water you and your household uses on a regular basis plus any alternatives needed (like no-rinse body wash).

No bunker or basement required! Where do you get creative to store prepping gear and food and water?

Anyway, so recently I lost my job and that brings us to one income. The Lord will provide. He has already provided by giving me wisdom of preparedness and knowing that the world still turns and things happen. I can’t control the world, I can control how prepared I am. Step by step. Little by little.

I don’t have the time, money or resources to be storing or buying anything that I know me and my household won’t use/eat. Store the dried foods and the canned and the alternative cooking…but be real about your own abilities and sometimes convenience is so important, especially the first 72 hours of a disaster or emergency.

Get a goal for a realistic emergency or disaster. Job loss, winter storms, hurricanes, blackouts, inflation, etc. Whatever could affect you, get a goal and prep for that.

We have been told a lie that we need thousands of dollars and a bunker to be prepared. Yes, prepping takes money. But you don’t have to rush. You don’t have to go into debt. Just do what you can. Please comment with how YOU are getting prepared step by step to help encourage others.

Pretty sure I got this waffle maker for like $20 from HEB. It’s not perfect but it gets the job done. Being down an income now, my preps are really coming in handy, even I don’t have the fresh ingredients on hand, I have powdered or freeze dried alternatives. I’m not saying convenience is bad, it’s sometimes necessary and it just depends on your time, too, but I encourage you to try to make something from scratch this week. What are you going to make?!

Thanks for watching/listening to this whole thing. I want to hear a time in which you have experienced your own personal SHTF and how being prepared has helped you.
