POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hey instagram fam! It’s been a minute, & I have a lot to catch up on as far as posts about recent projects, but first of so excited to share that I’m attending my first @marchedufilm - @festivaldecannes 🎞️✨

I’ll be participating in the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner | Rendez-vous Industry- thanks to the inclusion of our film Jamie is Alone as part of the 48HFP collection.
Our film will be showing in the Palais on Wednesday May 20th.

I’m looking forward to all the films, panels, & workshops but also really looking forward to meeting so many amazing folks! If this happens to reach your feed & you’re also going, here’s a quick tldr about me if you’d like to connect: I’m a first generation Latina ( Mexican - Guatemalan ) in the US that is based in Southern California. I have many years of experience in branded & learning content, have edited documentaries & music videos, with my more recent focus being on editing / assistant editing on short films. It’s been a blast working on a lot of horror comedy shorts lately, and my last project was a SciFi buddy film that was so incredibly fun. I truly love working on projects that connect to what | love- from telling diverse stories, comedy, horror, SciFi, and fantasy films.

If this happens to reach your feed & you’re also going, l would be so glad to connect! I’m expecting there might not be too many editors around ( pls shout out if so!) but I’m so happy to connect with passionate filmmakers of all types. I’m especially looking forward to connect with other female filmmakers in genre / WOC / LGBT+ filmmakers / editors, assistant editors.

I’m so grateful for the support of my LinkedIn family and for fellow creatives I get to create with at @visionreyent . Big congrats to the full Jamie is Alone cast & crew & huge thanks especially to the other editor I got to work along side this time- truly such a pleasure Minica & Anthony
