Every woman I know has "a story".

They have all felt uncomfortable in situation, simply because they are a woman.
Most of them have been assaulted, one way or another, with a lot of that passed off as "just a joke" or as "just a compliment".
Every day, society tells them what is wrong with them - their weight, style, hair, make up, voice, opinion, decisions... all should be changed to be better.
Every day, their existence is questioned by people who don't live their experience.
They are taxed over the top on necessary products, or equivalent products.
Their accomplishments rarely matter, unless a man can either take credit or profit.
They all take extra precautions for theor safety when out in public, especially when at bars and clubs, or out at night.
They are treated like idiots by tradespeople and salespersons, dealing with the condescension that should have died out a a long time ago.
Ignored by medical professionals, including the distinct lack of research into symptoms, conditions and functions that are explicitly linked to their own bodies.
Objectified from childhood. Rejected when reaching aa certain "maturity".

Every woman I know will identify with at least half of this list. Most will recognise almost all of it.

Women, everywhere, are subjected to horrible treatment by society. A treatment that is only getting worse with the rise of right wing ideology.

It needs to stop.

To all men. Stop. Rethink and adjust your behaviour where needed.

To all Women. Including trans women. I see you, and stand by you.
