♡ Thank you for the CRIT nomination for "Best Utilization of Accessibility Features and Safety Tools in an Actual Play"! We also ensure that every single game has captions.

THANK YOU RD5 TEAM!

*ALL LINKS ARE IN OUR BEACONS - 🔗 IN BIO*

In our appreciation, we want to re-give credit to all those who have helped us build our Safety Documents, DEI & Accessibility Policies, The Welcome Sheet and other features. As well as share links to each of these so you all may use as well. Note: We do use the term "Guide" instead of Game Master

-Original Safety Checklist by @stellalunatv

This form is used by us and has one for each game for the entire cast to know each others boundaries. The lines and veils are anon aside from the top section which is relationship and NPC/PC de*th preferences. Recently added: Blocked names

-Welcome Sheet by: @aundawyn

This is used to let the players know what to expect from RD5 and what we expect from players as well as answer any questions about the streaming process.

-Game Form by: @mika_mcintosh & additional inspiration from @scry_society

Utilized so each potential player knows who the Guide is for the game, CWs and general knowledge of the game they wish to be cast for.

-Casting by: Founders & Admins

When casting and vetting of players has been done in accordance to our Community Guidelines. We Privately message each player from the official Role D5 account on Discord, this includes link to each player reached out to for the game and a final confirmation. This also allows players to let us know if they are comfortable or not with the players selected to avoid going into a game unknowing of who they share a table with.
The Welcome Sheet and DEI policy are sent to players in that same message.

-Anon Post Game Player Feedback Form by: Founders & Admins

A form that allows for anonymous feedback back on thing that went well or what can be improved upon

-DEI & Accessibility Policy, linked is Role D5's version. Original created by: @bossjellybean @spunkytaylor @glowpinkstah

Captions, used through VDO Ninja and used every single game on the layout directly. Idea brought by: @shadowsilvia_ and improvements by @jienbirb CRIT AWARDS FINALISTS: Best Utilization of Accessibility Features and Safetv Tools in an AP
"Chains of Asmodeus" by Maddaloon Player-facing safety tool forms and documents. Extensive discussion behind-the-scenes prior to emotionally intense scenes.
Role D5
Inclusivity heavily prioritized, creating a safer environment for players. Casting call example available to the public to set expectations. Safety checklist utilized. Accessibility requests from players fulfilled. Anonymous player feedback forms utilized.
"Gilded Thrones" by Bards of New York Public session zero to establish expectations and flexibility of mechanics, according to player needs.
"Shadows in the Smoke" by Kitten Marlowe
Content warnings and hand-typed transcripts available for every episode. Open door policy in effect for all players at all times. Utilizes lines & veils and the X card. The GM checks in with players after
traumatic scenes. by @role_d5
