Let me introduce myself!

My name is Raven, and I’m a coaster enthusiast. I wasn’t always though! I spent a lot of time going to theme parks as a kid, mainly Dollywood, and was TERRIFIED of riding anything that would leave the ground.

In high school and during COVID lockdown, I grew my love of coasters by watching a ton of YouTube videos by Theme Park Worldwide, Coaster Studios, and more and grew to love the history, physics, and fun of coasters and finally built up the courage to go big or go home.

My first big trip was to drive to Missouri and ride Time Traveler at Silver Dollar City. After that, it was history!

Some more fun facts about me:
-My home parks are Kentucky Kingdom and Kings Island.
-I am 28 and a millennial through and through.
-I live in Kentucky and absolutely love it here.
-I have two music degrees and still teach private lessons on the side in addition to my 9-5.
-As of writing this, I’ve ridden over 300 different coasters!
-My favorite music is pop and rap, including TDCC, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Doja Cat, and Doechii.
-I have a YouTube channel where I post long form vlogs every Friday! (linked in my bio)

The past two days at Kings Island were truly magical, such a wonderful park with a great collection of coasters my favorite being Mystic Timbers. But can’t forget about other great coasters such as The Beast, Diamondback, Orion, and many more. The all new Phantom Theater Opening Nightmare is a great dark ride you don’t want to miss out on. So if you haven’t been to Kings Island make sure to visit as it is a can’t miss park. Also, I met the only @rollercoastingwithraven had a blast meeting her and riding roller coasters with her. If you do not follow her, please give her a follow for great coaster content and check out her YouTube channel for great vlogs, plus she is one of the kindest and down to earth people you can meet.

If you’re at a Six Flags park a lot, mainly visit on weekends and holidays, and have the opportunity to purchase all season fast lane, I can’t recommend the season-long fast lane enough! It’s a big expense for sure but I typically have gotten my money’s worth by Memorial Day weekend, sometimes sooner. Do you have season-long fast lane?

This is something that I don’t normally talk about on this page, but I have an anaphylactic peanut allergy. I have since I was six years old. It may be harder to travel, but with some planning, I can do everything that anyone else can do!

Part of prepping for a new theme park in a new place is arriving with safe snacks! Here’s a few of my faves. (Food allergy peeps- remember your right to reasonable accommodations of bringing your own food into theme parks!)
