Being able to dance was one of the greatest gifts God gave me. 🤍

Dance is my second home, and it gave me my second family. Dance has been the biggest part of my life since I was 3 years old, and I can’t imagine it any other way. I have created countless memories that I will never forget, learned so many life lessons, made lifelong friendships, and collected stories that I will cherish forever.

Thank you, Mrs. Taylor, for always shining God’s light through all of us. You showed us that it doesn’t matter what a judge’s opinion or score is it matters how you felt when you stepped off that stage. Thank you for opening your studio and creating a place where I could grow into the dancer and person I am today.

Thank you, @brianna_butlerr for always pushing me and believing in me no matter what. Thank you for all of your words of wisdom. You taught me how to be a better human, not only in dance but outside of the studio. Anyone who knows me knows you, whether it’s through something I’ve taught them, advice I’ve shared, or the way I carry myself. Your impact on my life goes far beyond dance, and I will always be grateful for that. I will never forget the day that you said “dancing is a privilege” not everyone can dance whether that’s their ability, financially, or health. Ever since then I’ve loved dance a little harder each day.

I cannot believe this chapter is coming to a close, but I am so grateful for every moment that made it possible. Thank you to my parents, dance family, teachers, and dance moms for the love, support, encouragement, and memories that will stay with me forever. While this chapter may be ending, the lessons, friendships, and love I found at dance will always be a part of me. by @rolley.len

I have been blessed and honored to receive the Earn & Learn Scholarship. I thank my parents, coworkers, friends, and family for their unwavering support. I love you all so dearly! I have worked hard for this moment and will continue to pursue what God has in store for me.
