From somewhere along the Alaska hwy 🇨🇦 by @rolling_vistas
Denali National Park 🫎 Zac pulled off the road and I was able to shoot these right out the van window. It took a tremendous amount of willpower not to squeal, especially when he looked right at me.😆 I am sure Denali is beautiful year round, but it’s hard to imagine a prettier time than fall. The color was unbelievable 🍁 by @rolling_vistas

On today’s Draw + Chat, I decided to get my traditional art supplies out for the first time since we hit the road in this van. On a little 5x7 water color block (perfectly travel-sized!), I had fun experimenting with gouache paints. So fun! It felt good. I don’t do it often enough. I plan to do more traditional art on my weekly live stream. Come hang out with me on the Rolling Vistas YouTube Sundays or catch the replay any time. ☺️ by @rolling_vistas
I love Alaska!!!! 😭😭😭 by @rolling_vistas
Just finished up a new Draw-n-Chat illustration 🫎 I drew this moose family using a combo of my own wildlife photography as well as some public domain images. A moose is such a thrill to see. Every time, I am awe struck at their size… it’s like I forget how massive they are! We have seen SEVEN moose so far on our journey to Alaska. Each time, I can’t help but think of Brooke, the main character from my graphic novel. She would be in heaven. If you’d like to join live, be sure to hit the notification 🔔 on the Rolling_Vistas channel because I can’t always start at the same time. Or if you’d like to watch the backlog, there’s a playlist with all of the streams to date. The streams are laid back. I talk about van life, travel, my books, illustration, publishing, etc… and try to answer any questions I can in the chat. There’s lots of drawing, some chill background music, and no ads. If this sounds like your kinda thing, come hang out with me! Next week I’m planning to sketch a new illustration using some pics I got of a grizzly bear and her cubs a few days ago! 😬🐻 #diaryofanaturenerd #moose #vanlife #vanlifeartist by @rolling_vistas
We made it through Canada! Alberta-British Columbia- The Yukon ✔️ We were so intimidated by the idea of driving to Alaska for so long but it really wasn’t scary at all. There were plenty of places to get gas and food. The roads weren’t bad (until the last stretch into Alaska) There were plenty of places to camp for free. And oh my gosh the views were so beautiful that it was almost annoying. 😆 Only real complaint: The mosquitoes were ROUGH! And we didn’t see as much wildlife as we expected but here is my favorite shot from the journey. 🫎💚🫎 by @rolling_vistas
I’ll be going live on YouTube this evening to start coloring the moose drawing I started on my last Draw-n-Chat. If you’d like to print the line-work to color along with me, it is available for download on my website under the “Free Printables” section at TiffanyEverett.com See you in a bit! ✍️🚐🫎 #diaryofanaturenerd #vanlifeartist #coloringpage #moose by @rolling_vistas
Check out Zac’s newest video on YouTube! Yes, it’s amazing. youtube.com/@zendrson Link in bio. by @rolling_vistas
The finished illustration from my first Draw n’ Chat livestream series. 🦬 The resulting illustration isn’t a portfolio piece, but that’s okay! It’s all great practice and I’m grateful for everyone who has joined along for the process. I’ve really enjoyed carving out time on Sunday afternoons to play/experiment with art, practice putting my creative decisions into words, and talk camping and nomadic life with you guys. I’ve learned a lot and faced some fears…like drawing in front of people 😬 This coming Sunday, I’ll be starting a new painting and I have some ideas to make things go more smoothly. I hope to see you there! Search Rolling Vistas on YouTube, Sunday 2pm MST 🎨 Feel free to drop in, ask questions about van life and art, or just chill with me. by @rolling_vistas
Just wanted to apologize for the Draw n Chat livestream being cut short on YouTube today! I had some technical difficulties... meaning technically my laptop was not plugged in🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m going to wrap up this illustration off camera so we can start a fresh painting next Sunday. Hope to see you there! by @rolling_vistas
