Carly sent me some videos and it just blows me away how active Gene was at his old age. I believe he was 94 at that time. I wasn't there when he painted that, but even before and after when we worked on the Volvo together and doing other things...I have also seen him plenty times when he wasn't doing good, but overall I'm just impressed with his strength and passion still at that age, especially since I've been struggling with health issues lately, and still almost 40 years younger.
