Words can make or break you they say.. This event was about more than just words for me. It wasn't just a spelling bee competition it was more.

On this day words were spoken to me that awakened something in me that I had decided to put to sleep.

On this day I saw brilliant young girls with hopes, dreams and ambition.

On this day I saw , spoke and ofcourse interacted with Super women doing... Super things.

On radio, I use my platform to advocate for the girl child and now
as a girl mum, It is not only my responsibility to advocate for the girl child... It is my duty.

The @t1f_foundation put this incredible event together and are committed to supporting the girl child, and youths generally through creative initiatives and practical support. by @rollybello

Maybe getting you fired is extreme but if after plenty of corrections , you refuse to fix up.. I will just relegate you to reading announcements.

Surveyors are the truly the architects of certainty . Without their precision, even the grandest architectural designs would risk being built on unstable ground or the wrong plot entirely.

It was an honour to be among these great men and women doing their bit for national development. I learnt a lot today!!

Thank you Surv Peter Ijaola MNIS @mr_bukky MC Surveyor.

Massive thank you and well wishes to the President of APPSN Surveyor Alex Olatunji Egberinde MNIS.. Thank you Sir by @rollybello

I have worked in a sister station that used to owe salaries for up to 4 months at a stretch, where no internet was provided; basic tools to do job were unavailable or outdated. Sometimes, we could only afford to keep the station running for two hours. Why? Because no diesel. I can count how many times I was presenting and the transmitter got turned off on me.

You might wonder, “Was it different in the head office?” sad truth is “No it wasn’t”. The staff in the head office were being owed salaries too. In my one and a half years at that organisation we had 3 different station managers. I never, in the entire time I worked there, got to meet any of the management staff from Lagos, talk less of meeting the CEO.

In all that mayhem, I learnt how to be resourceful; how to think outside the box. I got to do TV for the first time, learnt new skills etc. What I didn’t know or understand was the organisation’s culture.

Yesterday, The People’s Food Bank had another beautiful day of giving and this one was made possible courtesy of @themorayoshow @morayobrown

Eight takeaway meals. Eight people. Eight little reminders that sometimes, a simple act of kindness can mean so much.

To The Morayo Show, thank you for helping us put more food on more tables.

And to everyone who keeps cheering us on, donating, sharing, calling and believing in this dream ... We appreciate you.

But we’re not stopping here.
Tuesday, we go again!

Want to help us feed more people? Sponsor a plate or as many as you can. Every plate counts.

Small act. Big heart. Real impact.
Building community, one plate at a time.

Who gets the SDP ticket? Who betrayed who? Who collected money from who? Plenty questions....
