/ ANGRA DOS REIS PATTERN / This project was designed with through year my experience along years living in my hometown at the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Angra Dos Reis is a city that has so much culture and nature, and I convert then to symbols that are them explored on this pattern. One of those most important cultural pillars on the city is its Catholic heritage, so that are many catholic churches and two convents. I chose Convento São Bernardino for my Illustration, because its historical importance to the city and it deserves more highlights. Like most Brazilian’s small towns have some myths, Angra Dos Reis is not different. Angra is a coastal city, there is a fish in the bay called “Cavala” and just in the city of Angra it appears with a different bone on the head looks like a Saint sculpture. And the people believe that represents patron saint “Nossa senhora da Conceição” (Our Lady of conception). Enjoy 🌺✨💘 by @roly.studio
