Three intense weeks in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
We came here to meet a surf community.
We’re leaving with something much bigger.

Fatima, Milly, Nasima, Mehdi, Racheed, Sifat…
Stories of courage, resilience, and freedom.
In a place as breathtaking as it is challenging, where surfing is more than a sport — it’s a statement.

This shoot pushed us, physically and emotionally.
But it also reminded us why we do this.

I can’t wait to share this documentary with you.

Super fier d’avoir co-produit, via @showcastproduction, et participé a la fabrication, grâce à @blackship.tv, du documentaire « 29 173 NM ».

29 173 Miles nautiques c’est la distance du tour du monde effectué par @thomasruyant seul à la barre de son voilier lors du dernier Vendée Globe. Le 8 novembre 2020, le skipper se lance dans la fameuse course avec à son bord un dispositif novateur de captation de sons et d’images. Une traversée intense, un voyage organique au plus près de l’homme et de sa machine. Une expérience sonore et visuelle extrême, orchestrée par l’artiste vidéaste et compositeur @molecule_music associé au co-réalisateur @vincent_bonnemazou.

Très fier de vous présenter la BA du documentaire « Children of Teahupo’o » !
Heureux d’avoir produit ce film via @showcastproduction pour @oxbow avec @corentin_lecroqueur.
Ce film est né dans la tête et la caméra du talentueux @arthurbourbon que j’ai eu le privilège d’accompagner là bas grâce à @ohrelie23 et @airtahitinui. J’ai découvert une îles et une culture incroyable à travers le cœur énorme de @tahuraihenry et toute sa famille, les tubes du prodige @gilbertteave et le regard mythique de @timmckenna.
Il ne pouvait y avoir que @villevieille_ pour s’occuper de la musique, @makoworkshop pour le sonoriser et les équipes de @blackship.tv pour la post-production. 🙏❤️

CHILDREN OF TEAHUPO’O, un hommage à la beauté, à la perfection et à la puissance brute de l’une des vagues les plus parfaite au monde, ainsi qu’à la lutte des peuples pour sa préservation.

Le documentaire sera présenté en avant-première lors des prochaines Oxbow Movie Nights en juin et sera très bientôt disponible en exclusivité sur @stab.

This film was born in the mind and eyes of the talented @arthurbourbon, whom I had the privilege of accompanying there thanks to @ohrelie23 and @airtahitinui. I discovered an incredible island and culture through the huge heart of @tahuraihenry and all his family, the hits of prodigy @gilbertteave and the mythical look of @timmckenna.
There could only be @villevieille_ to handle the music, @makoworkshop to sound it and the @blackship.tv teams for post-production. 🙏❤️

CHILDREN OF TEAHUPO’O, a tribute to the beauty, perfection, and raw power of one of the worlds most scenic waves, and the peoples battle for its preservation.
