Six months in our new home, aka Icon Aesthetix 2.0, and I still can’t get over the ENERGY at our grand opening. 🥹✨

This moment especially.🖤

Jacqueline has been my patient for four years, and she completely surprised me by getting up and singing “Ain’t It Fun” with @littkeys to celebrate our grand opening.🥹

Hearing her sing while looking around at our Icons, my friends, my family, and everyone who has supported me along the way…yeah, it meant everything. ❤️😭

And if you know how long and hard it took me to get here, you know why. Since 2004, I’ve dreamed about opening my own medspa in Virginia Beach..and more than once, I thought it was finally going to happen.

So when she looked right at me and sang, “Ain’t it good to be on your own”…WHEW. 🥹

Turns out, doing it on my own was the move.

You can build a beautiful space, buy the latest technology, and create the business you’ve always envisioned…but the PEOPLE are what make it special. So many of our patients have become friends and family and have truly made Icon their home. The Icon community we’ve built is hands down the part I’m most proud of. 🖤

And you already KNOW @LittKeys had to be there. They’ve been celebrating with us since our very first grand opening in the salon suite back in 2023. 🫶🏼

Fun fact: Jacqueline is also part of @romance_lobby! So if you’re looking for amazing live music for a private event, definitely check them out…and of course @littkeys too. 🎶

To our Icons, my team, my friends, my family, and everyone who continues to show up for this community we’ve built…thank you. 🥹🫶🏼

Still riding the high from our very first Thursday Ladies Night at The Cavalier. 💕✨

I’ll admit, I was a little nervous going into this one. There have been some seriously incredible acts on those Thursday nights over the years, and those felt like some pretty big shoes to fill. But the amount of love and support Romance Lobby received last night was honestly overwhelming in the BEST way.

And can we talk about THE SIGN?! 😭💕 My mama, @makaisunriseshop , made this incredible Romance Lobby heart for us, and last night was its official debut! And y’all LOVED it. Seeing everyone taking pictures with it and hyping it up made me so happy. It could not be more perfect for us.

And of course the ICON fan had to make an appearance. 😂 I’ve been going to Icon Aesthetics for almost four years, happened to see my @iconaesthetix girls out last night, and naturally we had to represent.

Mostly, I’m just incredibly grateful. Grateful to The Cavalier for giving Romance Lobby our first Ladies Night, grateful to everyone who came out, sang with us, danced, took pictures, shared our stuff, recommended us, booked us, or has supported this little project in any way since we started.

Watching Romance Lobby turn into something people genuinely enjoy and want to be a part of has been such a cool feeling. 🥹💗

First Cavalier Thursday: officially in the books.

You guys have seen me post bits and pieces about Romance Lobby, my little side project outside of 10 Spot, but what started as just an idea and a creative outlet has slowly started turning into something really special. We went from a duo… to a trio… and now even doing full band sets when requested, which is honestly wild to me.

One of my favorite parts though? Getting to do this with my older brother. There’s something really cool about creating music with family and watching it evolve together in real time.
