The only thing that is not impacted by AI. Keeping my fingers crossed 😂
Grateful to just be on the stage ✨
Thank you @dutch_aeropress_championship @keen_coffee for organising it. And always a treat to watch @wendeliendrinkscoffee MCing the stage so well 🤗♥️ by @romancing.koffee

A little reminder from my time in Norway:
Life isn’t only about making the most of every minute. Sometimes it is about simply enjoying it.

I collect cities, coffee spots and little moments in between as my souvenir.

If Sheldon studied filter coffee instead of physics, this would probably be his obsession.

Because when you love coffee, the roastery is always part of the itinerary.

POV: you order a V60 to go and realise that you have committed a coffee crime.

How pretty 🌸🌼🌺

Slow down

A sip of apple cider made from local produce?

Finding little pieces of Indian textiles tucked away in the small shops in the colourful streets of Stavanger

The coffee may have been the constant, but hiking in the fjords was definitely the highlight.

The motivation I had after the hike: cold coffee+ maggi.
Reality: absolutely none of it 😂

A cup of coffee has never just been a cup of coffee.

It’s an invitation.
To slow down.
To be curious.
To sit across from someone you don’t know and leave feeling like you do.

When I moved to the Netherlands, I never imagined coffee would become my way of finding people.

Over the past few years, I’ve wandered through cafés, coffee festivals, cuppings and workshops, meeting baristas, roasters, home brewers, coffee communities and manyyyyy coffee lovers….Every conversation has shaped the way I taste coffee and the way I see people.

One of my favourite moments now is when someone at a coffee festival smiles and says, “You’re Romancing Koffee!” It’s a gentle reminder that what started as an Instagram page has become a way of connecting with people I might never have met otherwise.

The workshops felt like another step on that journey. Not because it was about teaching coffee, but because it brought together people who were willing to slow down, ask questions, share ideas and learn from one another.

I think I’m finding my people by following this passion.

And I hope, one cup at a time, to create a space where others can find theirs too.

Now I’d love to hear your story.

What’s one hobby or passion that unexpectedly introduced you to people who changed your life? What’s a community you’re grateful to have found? 🤎☕ by @romancing.koffee

☕🍊 Happy King’s Day! I took my most popular cold brew recipe from the workshop… and gave it a festive Dutch twist.
Espresso + tonic water + sinaasappelsap (that’s Dutch for orange juice -and yes, “sinaasappel” literally means “Chinese apple,” because when the fruit first arrived in Europe centuries ago, the Dutch called it a Chinese apple!).
On Koningsdag the whole country celebrates with beautiful orange everywhere. So my coffee had to join the party: sparkling, citrusy, and perfectly festive.

Fijne Koningsdag! Wie durft deze oranje koffie te proberen? 🧡🇳🇱

Dunked headfirst into caffeine at the Amsterdam Coffee Festival ☕️✨
From silky pour-overs to punchy espressos, every cup had its own personality—and every roaster had a story that made you slow down and actually listen between sips.

Met passionate people, discovered some seriously cool beans, and probably hit my caffeine limit somewhere halfway through… no regrets.

Already looking forward to the next festival 😇❣️😎

Reminder!!! by @romancing.koffee

March really said “character development,” and wow… it did not hold back at the start 😅 But somewhere between the chaos, the overthinking, and the “what is even happening” moments, things slowly softened and found their way into something beautiful.

Feeling extra grateful for the little things, the quiet wins, and the privilege of being able to pause, reflect, and keep moving forward—especially knowing there’s so much happening in the world beyond our own bubbles.

April, please come in gently… we’re all a little tired here 🤍
