things i ✨don't✨ do as a bookstagrammer 🗣️

this can also count for a get to know me! i have a few new faces here and i am so thankful that my account is somewhere you can feel safe to be who you feel is the most authentic version of yourself.

my goal is truly to uplift voices who may get missed in the masses, and my special love for indie authors knows no bounds. while i love my trad folks just as much, finding an indie authors who might be doing this whole big world thing on their own, I love knowing I can be a part of that and that's something I always want to focus on, on this page.

this space feels like, sometimes you can't catch a breath from the scandals and negativity or the next person putting someone down because they feel more deserving of something. Why can't there be space for everyone to get an opportunity or a chance? Why can't we realize that clapping for others doesn't mean your time will never come, your success shouldn't mean you step on the shoulders of others so that you stand taller.

at the end of the day, I'm just a girl standing in front of the world asking you to try and love each other a little bit more every day.

•September Recap•

i read so many good books this month! mostly novellas but i did read a whole series in preparation for a new release in october which is why my page count is ✨enormous✨LOL

i will say this is the best month i've had in a long time, 16 books will most likely never happen again in one month but im so proud of myself for doing it!! i FINALLY started a new job on the 16th so my only goal for the future is 5-7 books a month going forward but im open if anyone has any novellas to get me closer to my goal 👀

i hope you all had a great month and get to find new books to love!! i hope your shelves are always full 💜 here's to year 28! 🎂
