Gabriela & Michel got married in the most beautiful of location, in the heart of Tuscany at @quercia_al_poggio.weddings
Super 8 adds to that a magical vintage timeless and nostalgic feel. Enjoy!

Special thanks to @lovelytuscany_weddingplanner for planning this day and to @giacomolaiwedding for having amazing photographers. Such a talented team!

Romantica Films: Founded in Love

Our story began six years ago, when we met and fell in love at first sight. At the time, Natalie was running a successful wedding photography and film company in the United States, while Roberto - an award-winning travel videographer and photographer from Italy - had just graduated from the New York Film Academy.

After getting married, we decided to combine our creative visions and build something together. That shared dream led to the founding of our boutique wedding film and photography company, Romantica Films, now based in the breathtaking Lake Como, Italy.

Our style was deeply inspired by a meaningful discovery-Roberto’s grandfather’s Super 8 film camera. Holding a piece of his family’s history sparked something in us: a desire to blend the nostalgic, timeless texture of vintage film with the clarity and beauty of modern digital.

The result is a signature style that captures weddings with emotion, artistry, and an enduring sense of romance.

Ryoichi & Mana pre wedding video in Bellagio and Villa Balbianello was really fun! We had a blast filming it thanks to their addictive happiness, joy and love for each other. Also it allowed us to get super creative with the edits 🍾

11 years ago, when they met at a New Year’s Eve party, they never could have imagined where life would take them.

A trip to Japan.
Four cats.
A house full of plants.
A surprise proposal in Melbourne.
And somehow it all led here.

11 years later...
A house full of plants.
Four cats (with a fifth on the horizon).
David would probably say yes to as many cats as Rose wanted...
As long as he got to spend forever with her.

Eleonora & Giovanni 🤍
The best engagement sessions don’t feel like photoshoots.
They’re slow mornings, boat rides, shared laughs, and moments you’ll never want to forget.
Captured on digital and nostalgic Super 8, so you can relive the feeling for years to come.

Planning your engagement in Italy 🇮🇹? We’d love to tell your story.

Cammy & Chase’s elopement in the Dolomites was the stuff dreams are made of! 🤍

Their love story is beautiful and we had the best time capturing their special day.
We started with their vow exchange while the sun rising over the mountains and it was absolutely perfect.
We had a couple of wedding crashers (horses lol) who were very curious and wanted to come and say hi, they were so kind and gentle - it was truly so special. taken in Dolomiti, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italian Alps by @romanticafilms
