DAMITA JO FREEMAN BOOK SIGNING RECAP! 📖

A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of assisting my good friend Damita Jo Freeman with her 1st book signing event for her close friends and family 🥲

I’m so grateful for our relationship and trusting me to be apart! It’s an honor to receive knowledge and history from her every time we talk or hang out. She is American History and her story must be told and heard.

Damita and The Soul Train gang opened the doors for so many black dance artists 🙌🏾

And SPECIAL thank you to my sistarrrr @_packrat_ for also assisting with the entire process from start to finish and capturing clips for me! This was such a historic and full circle moment for both us to share 🥰

I’ll keep yall posted on when the book is available online for purchase!

With everything going on in the world right now, we wanted to make people FEEL GOOD. No phones, no distractions, just music, movement, and genuine human connection. Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is be present.

Girls/Women’s Flag 🏈 Fitness @reggiestephensfoundation

Wheeeew my brother wore me and my niece out last Sunday!😂 I was huffin and puffin them lamb chops, hotlinks and Sweet potato pies off trying not to pass out hahahahaha. I was focused and forgot the mic was on 😭

I had so much fun getting to experience a day in the life of @reggiestephens28 learning football lessons from a retired @nygiants NFL player that happens to be my big brother 🤗✨ It has been inspiring watching your journey to Super Bowl XXXV 2001 to now giving back to the community!!! He really got it out the mud and I’m so proud and honored to witness what dedication, consistency and being relentless with your dreams looks like. Enjoy these slides!
