🍂 OCTOBER RECAP 🎣 October has been all about chasing sea trout, exploring new coastlines and enjoying those unforgettable moments by the water. 🌊 From the rugged shores of Gotland to beautiful sunrises, stunning sunsets and great memories along the way. Not every trip is about catching the biggest fish. Sometimes it's the adventure, the people and the moments in between that make it all worthwhile. 🔥 Tight lines! 🎣🧡 . . . . . #Octoberrecap #Seatrout #Seatroutfishing #nature #meerforellenangeln by @ron9gonefishing
This fish brought up a good fight 💪🎣🐟 The fish was one of plenty, definately the strongest and biggest of all 14 that day 🐟 . . . . . . #havørred #havørredfiskeri #seatrout #meerforellenangeln #havsöring by @ron9gonefishing
The Ghost collection is growing! 👻🔥 11g • 15g • 19g • 23g • 27g Five weights. Endless possibilities. One of my absolute favorite lures for chasing sea trout along the coast. 🎣 From shallow water to deeper spots, there's a Ghost for every situation. What's your go-to weight when chasing sea trout? 👀 #SavageGear #Ghost #SeaTrout #SeaTroutFishing #meerforellenangeln by @ron9gonefishing
Today, this 23g Copper Red Dots Sandeel from Savage Gear landed me a nice sea trout and helped me win a local fishing competition by just 3 grams! 🎣🏆 . . . . . #seatrout #havørred #meerforellenangeln #havsöring #savagegear by @ron9gonefishing
90% 🎣 That’s roughly how many of my seatrout have been caught on the Ghost from Savage Gear. My tackle box is full of lures, but somehow there’s always one I keep coming back to. Clear water. Murky water. Sun. Clouds. Summer. Autumn. The Ghost just keeps delivering. 👻🎣 At some point, a lure stops being just another lure in the box. It becomes the one you trust. For me, that’s the Ghost. #savagegear #fishingdaily #seatrout #GoneFishing #havsöring by @ron9gonefishing

While exploring the rocky shores of Gotland, I stumbled upon this BIG fella! 🦗💚 I'm pretty sure it's a Tettigonia viridissima, also known as the Great Green Bush-cricket. This impressive little creature was around 5–6 cm long! My guess is that the strong winds had blown it off course, as these guys usually prefer bushes, tall grass and green vegetation rather than rocky beaches. Fun fact: Despite their innocent appearance, these giants are actually predators, feeding on other insects. And believe it or not, their ears are located on their front legs! With autumn setting in, this little guy is probably approaching the end of its life cycle. Hopefully, it still has a few good meals left in it. Not exactly the wildlife I expected to encounter on a sea trout fishing trip! 😄 Have you ever come across one of these giants? . . . . . #gotland #nature #wildlife #grasshopper #fishingtrip by @ron9gonefishing
