NEVER GIVE UP has been taken down from streaming following an ongoing rights dispute with my former record label.

After years of unresolved accounting and payment issues, I independently released this album based on my understanding of the rights granted to me under our contracts.

My position is that this relationship has been riddled with repeated breaches of our agreements, including serious issues surrounding accounting, payments, my rights in the music and the damages it has caused. A formal termination and cease-and-desist letter has already been sent, putting them on notice of these disputes and my position that the agreement has been terminated.

Despite that, the situation has escalated further. I strongly dispute the takedown of NEVER GIVE UP.
My position is that I have not been properly paid what I am owed, with close to US$1 million in revenue, and they are now interfering with income generated from music I released independently — money I use to fund my career, touring and the legal fight to protect my rights.

I want everyone supporting me to know clearly: I did not choose to remove this album.

My music, touring plans and livelihood have all been affected, but I refuse to walk away from what I have spent years building.

I will continue fighting for my music, my rights and what I believe I am contractually owed.

NEVER GIVE UP.

No matter what is thrown at you, stand up for the truth and what you believe is right. ✊🖤

1 MILLION streams every month & climbing!!! 📈🌏
This is GLOBAL. Not local.

No label. No manager. Just me. Han Solo 🥷

273 MILLION streams on @spotify

And that’s just one platform... wait until you see the numbers across the others. 🔥🌏👀

This is, without a doubt, the Album of the Year and the greatest independent release in Australian music history.

Show me another independent artist who’s gone Platinum in Russia, Gold in the USA, Canada, and Australia, then self-funded and independently toured Australia & New Zealand with no label, no manager, no booking agency, and no outside backing.

I’ll wait...

Go stream ‘NEVER GIVE UP’ by RØNIN on all platforms! 🙊🔥💪🌏 taken in Australia by @ronin
