this year is the first year in a long time, maybe since childhood, that i haven't resented the fact that i'm alive for my birthday. i used to fantasize obsessively about and even planned on being an artist that joined the 27 club, so turning 28 is actually a decent accomplishment for me

tbh, i'm not at a point yet of wanting to be alive. i am still constantly growing and healing out of some painful-to-shed habits and pain. what i do know is that i want to figure it out. i want to "want to" live which is a huge step up for me if you're privy at all to the type of noise i live with in my head

what's awesome is that it feels worth it to try, it feels worth it to feel pain, it feels worth it to risk heartbreak, it feels worth it to love knowing that it's all temporary. idk why life all matters, but it matters enough to never give up.

the best part of it all is i am able to help support others who may be at their lowest. i wouldn't trade any moment of life away for anything if it meant i wasn't able to help out someone who is or was at where i was 20, 10, 5, 1 year ago

sending love to anyone who helped me get where i am at today. you know who you are. love. by @ronindascholar

Nothin’ But Bogeys table read was an absolute smashing success ⛳️

First time hearing the script performed aloud with this incredible cast, and they delivered huge laughs while completely bringing the world to life.

I thought I knew this script inside and out (having written it), but I was genuinely surprised and blown away by the performances, the timing, the choices, and the way the actors played to a live audience. The energy in the room was electric. Utterly joyful to experience.

Massive thanks to Matt Webb, Ischa Bee, Shane Morrisun and Moogy Ronin for their phenomenal performances, you absolutely crushed it.

The audience was amazing, and the whole experience made for an unforgettable day.

Huge gratitude to Warren and Dora for putting on such a wonderful festival and creating space for moments like this. @theutahfilmfestival Feeling incredibly lucky and very energized about what’s next.
