Lost my best friend. Remembered she would want me to live slow rest well. Added another scar to the collection. Saw beautiful friends. Lay down on the floor and looked at art. Used free will to pierce my eyebrow (yes it is new no I have not always had it). Saw some really good cats. by @ronineale
Today we said goodbye to our most beloved Ari cat. She hadn't been well for a while and she went as peacefully as possible. She was very tired and ready to go. There will never be a better cat. She has boarded the cat bus now (hence the cheerful music) and is off to yell at all her friends across the rainbow bridge. Safe travels my bestest stripey friend. by @ronineale
Summer holidays ☀️ Sauna, made my 10th blood donation, Ari and Heck are the best cats in the world! Hampstead Inspire was one of the most creative and rewarding things I could have done with a year and theatre is beautiful. Got to see family and friends friends friends. Matched my outfit with my pain relief & found a hagstone. Had another surgery on my arm which hopefully makes my median nerve better at functioning & gives me a shot at more mobility. by @ronineale

so proud of our Y2 mentored writers with Tour the Writer - Roni Neale and Beth Broomby - who will have their first work-in-progress readings for their plays at Every Body Festival at Camden People’s Theatre on Friday 11 July. 🚀 Laika by Roni Neale at 7pm ❄️ Characteristics of a Child Ten Days Old by Beth Broomby at 9pm no better feeling than to see and support playwrights and their plays growing tall from page to stage, with the brilliant help of our Tour the Writer partners @tbtlake in Cumbria (on Characteristics of a Child) and @theatreroyalplymouth (on Laika) <3 by @ronineale
over the moon (pun intended) to be supporting Roni Neale - a mentored writer on our Tour the Writer programme - on a work-in-progress reading of their play Laika at EVERY BODY FESTIVAL at @camdenpeoplestheatre on 29 June-13 July. Just off the pale blue dot - if you squint really hard - there’s Miriam. Floating through space. They’re not sure why, but NASA chose them to live here, and they accepted. And as the temperatures rise on earth, Miriam is given a choice. Either remain on this mission alone, or transfer to a shiny private corporation to establish a new society. A story by Roni Neale about living with disabilities, and living among humans 🌍 One of two Tour the Writer work-in-progress readings taking place on 11th July, alongside Beth Broomby’s Characteristics of a Child Ten Days Old ✨ Produced with the support of Camden People’s Theatre, Paines Plough and @theatreroyalplymouth . Developed through Paines Plough’s Tour the Writer programme in partnership with Theatre Royal Plymouth. An incredibly happy sappy round up post for that time I went to open a show in New York 😍 I've never been more sleep deprived, more grateful, and more filled with delicious food. This show is genuinely the gift that keeps giving and giving and giving and I can't WAIT for the whole of the big apple to fall in love with it. 1. A very jet-lagged very joyous company arriving at our theatre for the first time. 2. Tech tech baby feat Nic's incredible 2010s dance moves. 3. Opening night with 150+ New Yorkers who came to see our gorgeous little show. 4. Paines Plough's Big Day Out in the City! 5. The dream team at Rockefeller Plaza. 6. The smallest snowman I've ever seen. 7. Black sesame & coconut cronut from Dominique Ansel. 8. Maple & cinnamon crullers from Daily Provisions. 9. Lamb noodles from Very Fresh Noodles. 10. And of course... a bagel from Ess-a-Bagel. by @ronineale
