So this happened yesterday… ❤️My baby’s prom day was absolutely amazing, despite the 38-degree heat! ☀️And then she only went and won Prom Queen! 👑To me, that’s about so much more than a crown. It’s a reflection of the kind, genuine and beautiful young woman she is. To be voted Prom Queen by your peers is such a special honour, and I couldn’t be prouder.Congratulations, my darling. Keep being exactly who you are. You’ll always be my little girl, but yesterday you wore the crown. ❤️❤️❤️ @bighexec A huge thank you to our amazing chauffeur for helping make her Prom day so special. I’m honestly still trying to process Sunday night🥹If I’m being completely honest, I went there genuinely happy just to be a finalist. Being in a category with such incredible women already felt like a huge moment for me.What makes it even more emotional is that next month will mark one full year since I started running my business, so to receive this kind of recognition before reaching that milestone means more than I can put into words.So when my name was called as Entrepreneur of the Year 2026 🏆, I was completely shocked.I had no speech prepared because I truly did not think I was going to win. I just stood there trying to hold myself together… and then I cried like a baby 🥴🤣Real tears. I couldn’t stop them man 🤦🏾‍♀️It was one of those moments where everything hits you at once the hard work, the pressure, the quiet struggles, the prayers, the long days, and all the times you keep going without knowing where it will lead.First and foremost, I thank God. There have been so many moments this past year where only faith kept me moving, so this moment means more than I can explain 🙏🏾Thank you to the organisers of @thepowerawards and especially @therealfredinwaka for creating a space that celebrates women and recognises work that often happens quietly behind the scenes.Thank you to everyone who voted for me, supported me, encouraged me, and believed in me Love you all 🫶🏾A special thank you to my mum, Alice Maye, for her prayers, to my children, who sacrifice so much of my time while I build, and to @theultrapreneur for believing in me and encouraging me throughout this journey.I’m still shocked. For those who don’t know, the IoD represents business leaders and directors across the UK.Years ago this page documented my walking journey. Today it feels like those steps, the early mornings, the persistence, the quiet discipline, carried into building my business.Different path. Finalist. Entrepreneur of the Year. ✨🏆When I started building, it wasn’t for awards. It was to create a better life for my children, to build impact through my work, and where possible to open doors for the next generation.To now be recognised as a finalist genuinely means something. 47 😍♏️ 🦂 officially thriving, slightly tired, but very much in my element! 😂This year taught me that real growth starts when you get comfortable being uncomfortable.
