✨ A Note from Our Hearts ✨

To our cherished Dîner en Blanc Vancouver community,

After a thorough and heartfelt planning process, we’ve made the decision not to produce Dîner en Blanc Vancouver in 2025.

This event has always been about more than a dinner. It’s about the magic that happens when thousands of people come together - united by joy, elegance, and a shared sense of wonder. That magic is something we’ve treasured deeply.

We truly LOVE what this event represents. It has become a meaningful tradition for our city and a labour of love for our team. But the reality is: with rising event costs, limited corporate sponsorship, and no local or provincial grants available, it’s no longer sustainable for us to produce Dîner en Blanc at the level of excellence and beauty our guests have come to expect. As a small business, we also need to be thoughtful and risk-aware in today’s economic climate.

We are endlessly grateful to each and every one of you who has gathered with us, dressed in white, full of anticipation and joy. You are the ones who brought the magic - and we carry those memories with so much love.

We also want to extend our deepest thanks to the incredible vendors and partners who helped bring past editions to life. Your creativity, passion, and support have meant the world to us.

1 WEEK! 🎇 We're exactly a week away from the 11th edition of Le Dîner en Blanc Vancouver! It'll be the first time I share the reigns as a host. I couldn't be more excited.

I have so many incredible memories wrapped up in this special event. It brings people closer together and celebrates traditions like good food and wine, music, and artistry like nothing else. I am delighted to have my girlfriend Amanda, my parents, and so many close friends to share this next edition with.

To avoid the cliche, I mostly did it without them. But without them I wouldn't have done it. 😉

I can't wait for them to see what we have in store.

I'm so proud to be producing this event alongside @eventsbyaly who has brought so much heart and passion to this first year collaborating together. She is a force with an incredible vision for celebrating elegance and French culture in a distinctly Vancouver way.

It's going to be a remarkable, beautiful night next Thursday and I can't wait to see so many friends in truly spectacular fashion.

This weekend we went out and used @chefs.favourite as a guide to hit up some of the hottest places in town. The results were epic!

@mountpleasantvintage for afternoon drinks. The Bipartisan cocktail that was recently recommended on @chefs.favourite was AWESOME.

@deargussnackbar for a glass of wine and pre-dinner snack. WOW! This team is packing. A cozy little space and even though we didn't have much it was phenomenal!

@elio.volpe for dinner. @bandavolpi continue to deliver. The pepperoni and hot honey pizza was NEXT LEVEL and the chocolate tart for dessert 🤤. There was no space in my tummy, but somehow I enjoyed every morsel.

@maxines_cafebar for brunch the next morning. Shared the Full Harwood and it was the perfect recovery to the previous night's festivities. The bacon and sausage here is nothing short of INCREDIBLE.

As I suspected @chefs.favourite delivers!! Every spot was a home-run! Can't wait to do this again with a new set of favourites. ✌️ by @ronnoculosity

It's that time! @dinerenblancvancouver returns for a gorgeous and spectacular affair on Thursday, August 15th, 2024! I couldn't be more excited! 🎇🍾

The most unique and captivating event of the year, Dîner en Blanc is a celebration of culture, cuisine, and couture. Nothing comes close to the magic of this special gathering featuring thousands of guests elegantly dressed head to toe in white. The unique style that everyone contributes in their own way is one of the most exciting parts of the pop-up picnic soiree.

From those that bring their own gourmet picnic baskets to those who order the premium catered dinners, the food is exquisite all over. Add wine and champagne, great friends, and new ones waiting to be made, artists, musicians, performers. No other place brings together such culture and artistry with the warmest, most wonderful emotions at the fore.

It's an art and a celebration, combined into one.
