Ghanaian Man Allegedly Scams Nigerian Who Sheltered Him for Three Years
A Ghanaian man has allegedly scammed a Nigerian businessman who provided him with free accommodation and hosted him for three years while they were involved in gold trading in Nigeria.
According to reports, after realizing that his Nigerian host had made substantial profits from the business, the Ghanaian allegedly returned to Ghana and convinced him that the gold business was more lucrative there.
Trusting him, the Nigerian reportedly transferred ₦8 million to fund a gold purchase and travelled to Ghana to join his associate.
However, upon arriving in Ghana, the Ghanaian allegedly blocked all communication and abandoned him, leaving the Nigerian stranded after receiving the money.
We hope Ghana Authorities will be fair enough to investigate the fraud by @ronnwils

A 29-year-old Ghanaian man reportedly went on a violent rampage in broad daylight, allegedly robbing and attacking several people.
His spree ended after he attempted to rob an elderly woman of her purse, which reportedly contained jewellery and other valuables. He then allegedly picked up an iron bar, using it to damage vehicles and attack people.
Bystanders intervened and restrained him before police arrived. Authorities are expected to investigate the incident. by @ronnwils

Nigerian High Commission Intervenes in Disputed Accra Bank Robbery Case
The Nigerian High Commission in Ghana has intervened in the controversial circumstances surrounding an alleged attempted bank robbery in Labone, Accra, following conflicting accounts from the Ghana Police Service and GCB Bank.
According to the police, a suspected gang was preparing to attack GCB Bank, Ecobank and Zenith Bank in the Labone area on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Police said they responded to intelligence about the planned attack, resulting in the arrest of a Nigerian national identified as Augustine Okechuku Maazi. Two other suspects were reportedly killed during a gun battle, while another escaped.
However, GCB Bank has strongly denied that any robbery or attempted robbery took place at its Labone branch. The bank stated that its premises were never breached and that no customers, staff, funds or property were affected.
The conflicting accounts have raised questions about what actually happened. A representative of the Nigerian High Commission, Destiny Austine Omon, also questioned aspects of the police narrative, including the location of the incident, the weapons reportedly recovered and the vehicles allegedly used by the suspects.
Labone is regarded as a highly secured area, with several important government and security installations nearby, further prompting calls for clarification.
The Nigerian High Commission has reportedly sent the President of the All Nigerian Communities in Ghana to Ghana Police Headquarters to seek further information about the incident and the circumstances surrounding the arrest of the Nigerian national.
Maazi remains in police custody and is assisting with investigations, while the bodies of the two deceased suspects have reportedly been deposited at a morgue for identification and autopsy.
The incident remains under investigation, with growing calls for authorities to provide clarity on the circumstances surrounding the alleged robbery attempt and the deaths of the two suspects. by @ronnwils

Man fights friend over missing soup and meat
A disagreement between two close friends turned into a physical confrontation after one allegedly stole a pot of soup and meat prepared for a meal.
According to the complainant, identified as Wofa Capo, he had cooked a pot of soup in the afternoon and left it in the kitchen before heading to the market to buy cassava for fufu.
However, when he returned home, he was shocked to discover that both the soup and the meat had disappeared.
Curious to know what had happened, Wofa Capo questioned other tenants in the house.
One of the tenants reportedly told him that he had seen Wofa Capo's friend, Wofa Kofi, entering the kitchen while he was away.
Armed with this information, Wofa Capo confronted Wofa Kofi about the missing soup.
The conversation quickly became heated, with both men exchanging words before the situation escalated into a physical fight. by @ronnwils

Nana Bonsu presents himself as a man of God and a businessman involved in the tyre business to gain the trust of women. His wife, Sally, is also alleged to play a role by presenting herself as a friend and gaining the confidence of some of the victims.
Several thousand of women have reportedly come forward with allegations against the couple. The two have reportedly been charged and arraigned before the court, with legal proceedings currently ongoing.
