After yet ANOTHER exhausting day of making movies in Malta - alongside his trusted 1st AD Ms. Ludo - Sir Ronald took a moment for a refreshing - and well-deserved - little something cool. He is such a brave fellow. #sirronaldmakesmovies #makingmovies #makingmoviesineurope #directorsguildofamerica #makingmovieswithfriends taken in Valletta, Malta by @ronoliver

Another exhausting day on the set of Sir Ronald’s latest epic. Yes, that’s the Med behind him…and also a five thousand year old temple. He still remembers going to the Grand Opening. #sirronaldmakesmovies #makingmoviesineurope #makingmovieswithfriends #malta taken in Malta, Europe by @ronoliver

From fellow Magic Castle Member Georgia Lyle -

“As October begins, we find ourselves entering into the joyous holiday season. However there is a dark cloud caused by a small minority who would water down and even reject our most sacred traditions. These people want to force their own belief systems on us no matter what the cost.

I am referring, of course, to the War On Halloween. All across the nation we see signs appearing that advertise “Harvest Festivals,” “Fall Festivals,” and even “Bible Character Costume Parties.” These milquetoast celebrations haven’t a ghost, zombie, vampire, or werewolf in sight. They fly in the face of our all-hallowed traditions.

Those of us of strong moral character can prevail in this war. Don’t forget to say “Happy Halloween” and “Trick or Treat,” proudly! Dress in your most frightening outfits and crank up the howls and screams! We’re not scaredy cats! Make America Spooky Again!” #stopthewaronhalloween #thereisnosuchthingasjesusween #religiousfanaticsruineverything #jackolanterns4ever by @ronoliver

Sir Ronald still has mornings where he wonders how he got from a village in Ontario, Canada to a hotel suite in Malta, on a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean, working on the screenplay for his next epic. This is one of those mornings, for which he is eternally grateful. #malta #makingmovies #makingmoviesineurope #hiltonhonors #whatwillnathaliedo taken in Hilton Malta by @ronoliver
