The name Rooftop Jerky is inspired by the spirit of the “Rooftop Koreans” during the 1992 Los Angeles civil unrest. When many Korean-owned businesses were left without immediate protection, some business owners and community members stood on their rooftops to defend the businesses they had spent years building. To us, that story represents grit, resilience, sacrifice, and the determination to protect what you’ve worked for. Rooftop Jerky is built on those same values. Every batch is made with care, consistency, and the mindset that success comes from hard work, long nights, and never cutting corners. Our brand isn’t about glorifying conflict. It’s about honoring perseverance, supporting small businesses, and celebrating the resilience of the Korean American community. Those values are at the heart of everything we do, from the way we craft our jerky to the way we serve our customers. #beefjerky #rooftopkorean #smallbusiness #kbbq #koreansnacks by @rooftopjerky

Rooftop Jerky was never meant to be just a snack. It’s a reflection of the values I was raised with. The sacrifices my family made, the lessons my parents taught me, and the kind of culture I hope to carry forward for the next generation. Resilience Ownership Oneness Family Tradition Opportunity Perseverance These aren’t just words. They’re reminders of where we came from, how we carry ourselves, and what I want Rooftop Jerky to stand for long after the bags are gone. Built with purpose. Built around family. Built to honor those who came before us and create something meaningful for those who come after. Proverbs 23:24-25 🙏🏼 -Rooftop J #rooftopjerky #familybusiness #smallbusiness #koreanamerican #builtwithpurpose by @rooftopjerky

American made 🇺🇸 Korean inspired 🇰🇷 Made in small batches with quality ingredients, bold flavor, and a whole lot of purpose behind every bag. Nothing mass produced. Nothing generic. Just damn good jerky made right here in MURICA!🇺🇸🦅 Appreciate @mondragone86 for spreading the word and showing love to Rooftop Jerky while throwing brass out in Idaho. 🫵🏼😎🔥 #rooftopjerky #beefjerky #koreanamerican #smallbatch #americanmade taken in Idaho, USA by @rooftopjerky

Got my dad suited up in his new RTJ golf jacket. ⛳️🔥 There’s something so heartwarming about seeing my dad proudly repping our Rooftop Jerky gear. ❤️ He’s genuinely so proud of what we’ve built together, and it makes me smile knowing how much he loves showing off our brand and telling all his friends about what we do. He’s truly representing Rooftop Jerky on and off the clock. ❤️☺️🤙🏽 #rooftopjerky #familybusiness #golfoutfit #fatherson #proudfather by @rooftopjerky

🔥INTRODUCING BTS HEAT🔥 Two fan favorites. One fiery combination. We took the bold, savory kick of our SPICY KBBQ and blended it with the citrusy heat of our HABANERO ZEST to create something special for y’all! Sweet. Savory. Tangy. Spicy. And of course, that signature RTJ CRUNCH. 🔥🥩 BTS HEAT! Bringing the best of both worlds together in one bag. Who’s ready to turn up the heat? 🌶️🔥🥵 #rooftopjerky #smallbatch #kbbq #spicy #spicylovers by @rooftopjerky
