Hi, I’m Rose! I’m an artist based in Austria inspired by nature, specifically forest and aquatic life (no sunsets here). After exploring poetry, writing, and food photography, painting is my main love. I’m super into interior design, vintage vibes, and cute aesthetics too. Run by me, assisted by my dog Stefi! taken in Graz, Austria by @roosiewolf

A little peek behind the studio doors lately 🚪

Yesterday my page got a massive boost from @reupp_projekt my favorite Hungarian interior design account. Her content helped me a lot to rewire my brain upon thinking about my interiors I did not even know I needed, and I am beyond grateful 🥰 We’ve crossed 100 followers! A small step for humankind, but a giant leap for my creative journey 😊

Anyway, swipe through to see some little moments in my studio from the last few weeks if you want ✨

Just a tiny ball of fluff 🐥

This mini chick is No. 2 in my Bubbleduck gang. She’s sitting on a 20x20 cm canvas, proving that cute things often come in small packages ✨

Hope you enjoy jumping right from the messy start to the fluffy finish 🥹

Who says you have to stick to one visual style forever? 🫠

My favorite thing is experimenting without rules. My debut collection “Friction” was born out of curiosity - 12 pastel abstract pieces on 20x20 cm square canvases.

I focused on how colors react, how lines cross, and how shapes create harmony. Finishing a whole series proved to me that creative momentum is all about showing up consistently. This set is just the beginning of where I’m taking “my studio” next ✨

I love ducks. And bubbles. And I’m obsessed with soft pastel colors. So I thought, why not combine them all into one playful series? I wanted to make something that cheers me up every time I look at it.

I was dealing with some annoying neck pain last week, but starting this mini canvas painting process completely brought me back to life 😁

What’s something simple that always brightens your mood? Tell me below ✨

Meet “Friction” - 12 original pastel abstracts on 20x20 cm canvases 🎨

This collection was born out of play with colors, textures, and lines to create a small universe of color on our living-room walls. It’s amazing how they can completely shift the energy of a space✨

I’m planning to release art prints soon. Let me know in the comments which ones I should send to the print shop first 😁

Happy to share my very first collection: “Friction”. 12 pastel abstract pieces on 20x20 cm canvases ✨ Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments.

Spending my evenings after work painting these was so relaxing, and finishing the full set feels like such an accomplishment.

I know that abstract art isn’t for everyone, and people often ask, “What am I supposed to see here?”, which is hard to answer. Abstract art doesn’t copy visual reality. To me, it’s about carefully combining shapes, patterns, colors, and lines without overdoing it to bring a little piece of joy.

But anyway, I’m not sticking strictly to abstract art, I have completely different ideas planned for future projects. I love experimenting 😊

I’m not sure where these pieces will end up, but for now, they make our living room feel as a colorful mini-universe. If you’d like to bring a piece of this galaxy into your home, please let me know 🎨💫

For me, painting is about controlled expressive play. I love the joy of laying down thick, colorful brushstrokes, but the magic happens in the composition. By balancing loose sweeps of acrylic with sharp lines, dots, and negative space, I turn spontaneous energy into an intentional design ✨
