We're back! On Saturday, our volunteers will be out at the lot next to @rootaccesshackerspace helping replace vehicle lights* from 10am to noon. Tell your friends. We've seen all the one-eyed cars out there at night. Don't give cops a reason to pull you over. Let's keep each other safe *headlights, brake lights, tail lights, etc. This is not a check engine light event by @rootaccesshackerspace
#FeedFresno with me! | * 1476 N Van Ness ! Typo with the address โ˜๏ธ Iโ€™m hosting a lunch making party on my birthday at @rootaccesshackerspace! Itโ€™s my gift back to the city I love oh so much. With everything being so difficult right now, my heart aches thinking about how much harder it is for our homeless friends to survive now as well. While Iโ€™m complaining about my money, I still have a roof over my head and thatโ€™s so much more than so many of our neighbors have. In my eyes, this is the least I can do. Thank you so so much to Root Access for helping a dream of mine come true, Iโ€™ve been wanting to give out lunches for months now but I havenโ€™t had the means to. I love the space so much, go check it out, tell them Soupie sent you ;) As of posting this, I have no specific food bank in mind to donate to. Iโ€™ve emailed a few and havenโ€™t heard anything back, maybe tag a few to get their attention? ๐Ÿ‘€ #fooddrive #lunchmaking #communityservice #soupkitchen idk what to call this actually by @rootaccesshackerspace

Tune in to KFCF 88.1 FM radio today at 5pm to hear @hopsandtalks @rootaccesshackerspace and @fresno_resistance talk about Flock cameras and our event last night. Please reshare this post to tell everybody โค๏ธ by @rootaccesshackerspace
Last night was absolutely ELECTRIC! The room at Tioga-Sequoia was packed with engaged community members. Folks were standing becausewe ran out of chairs, listening intently, and asking important questions. If there are doubts about how Fresno or the Central Valley feels about these flock cameras, last night definitely cleared it up: residents of Fresno and the Central Valley understand the dangers of these data collecting cameras and how they infringe upon our constitutional rights to privacy Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared their perspectives, and added to the conversation. Your voices are what made last night powerful. And of course, a massive thanks to @tiogasequoia and @hopsandtalks for hosting us and giving the community a space to connect. This is only the beginning. We have started the path of Deflocking Fresno and the Central Valley and we are only going to continue to pick up steam from here on out. Follow @gettheflockouttafresno To stay updated with our next call to action regarding Deflocking Fresno and the Central Valley. A huge to @itsartwithwords for the amazing photos! โœŠ๏ธโœŠ๐ŸปโœŠ๐ŸผโœŠ๐ŸฝโœŠ๐ŸพโœŠ๐Ÿฟ #Fresno #GetTheFlockOuttaFresno #DeFlockFresnoNow #PowerInCommunity #Deflock by @rootaccesshackerspace

There are 70+ surveillance cameras in Fresno. They track your license plate, your car, your bumper stickers, YOUR FACE - and that data is accessible to law enforcement agencies across the country. Most Fresno residents have never heard of them. Weโ€™re changing that. ๐ŸŽ™ What the Flock?!โ€จA community panel discussion on Flock cameras, privacy rights, and what Fresno can do about it. Tues. July 14 ยท 6:30PM ยท Tioga Beer Garden ยท Free & open to all #WhatTheFlock #HopsAndTalks #Fresno #CentralValley #CommunityEducation by @rootaccesshackerspace
