Worried about not having enough space to grow cucumber or watermelon??🍉 🥒
👉This trellis arch in our front yard makes it possible. Instead of the vines spreading along the ground, we guide them up the trellis, then let them do their thing!
👉I’m not going to front like this is easy and inexpensive. I’ve bought the cattle panels over the course of 5 years. It also takes almost daily maintenance when the plants are young!
👉We’ve harvested hundreds of pounds of cucumbers 🥒 over the last 6 weeks. Stay tuned for the harvest of our first ripe watermelon!!🍉

I don’t know who this guy thinks he is!!!🙄🙄👀
👉Growing food in his front yard, bringing property values down, and making a mess!
👉Neighborhoods are meant for manicured lawns and flower beds!!
🔥I’ve heard it all.
🍉BTW… did you know that you can tell when a watermelon is ripe by locating the first tendril closest to the fruit? Once it dries up and hardens, the fruit is usually ready to pick!!

We use plastic bags to keep our cut lettuce mix fresh for the customers.
🥬We get many keyboard conservationists that claim there are better solutions. I have yet to hear of one that makes sense.
🥬The plastic keeps the air out and helps our lettuce mix to stay fresh for about 2 weeks in refrigeration.
🥬I am exploring the idea of using compostable clamshells. However, the reviews say it doesn’t work well with something that’s damp.
🥬If you have any ideas that make sense for selling our freshly cut lettuce in packaging that’s not plastic, let me know!!⁣

Making REAL soap.
👉The Cold-Process Method. Adding no heat. Letting the lye solution and oil create its own exothermic reaction to create the soap.
👉Once the soap is formed, there is no risk of chemical burns from the lye. The lye is used up in the saponification process! So many people ask why we would use lye if it’s dangerous. It’s dangerous during the process, but not when it’s complete and the soap is made.
🔥Think of a fire. While it’s burning, it can hurt you. Once the fire is out, the ash and coal left is harmless.
👉There is also no risk of the soaps clogging your drains. So many people tell me that coconut oil will clog your drains… yes it will. However, once the soap is made, there is no coconut oil left in the final soap. 🧼
🔥Going back to the fire reference. Once the piece of wood is going through the chemical reaction of being burned, it turns into ash and coal. It’s no longer a piece of wood. 🪵
