If you need to step away from social media, this is your permission.

Our minds and bodies aren’t meant to be constantly pulled into fear, trauma, or negativity.
Choosing rest, stillness, and boundaries is a radical way to protect your peace.

What’s happening in our communities — and the constant fear-driven narratives — can feel overwhelming.

It’s okay to not be okay.

Choose one small thing today that helps you feel grounded.

Tagged resources of amazing groups for support.

This situation about advanced practice nursing degrees being removed from the “professional list” just ignites more fuel to keep moving forward✨

These are 100% the degrees that the majority of women are in but this will also affect the men who are in these professions to.

It’s really an attack on the people who take care of and keep the healthcare infrastructure and communities going. These professions often do a lot of hard, stressful and difficult work, often not compensated well, even with masters degrees.

Our work for respect, support and the right to continue to take care of the people isn’t over. Nurses, ancillary roles in healthcare & teachers (PAs,PT,OT,ST, SW,therapist and educators) all deserve the support. We are who keep things going.

We chose these professions for a reason💯%

Hello, November. 🍂

A new month & season, a gentle reminder to realign and move with intention.

Let your intuition guide you. Define what success looks like for you, and start building the habits that will sustain you.

Prioritize nourishment, sleep, rest, and movement.

Prepare now so that when December calls for slowing down, you can do so without guilt.

Remember, not all growth is visible. Some of the most important work happens quietly, within.

Move with intention.
Protect your peace.
Make room for what matters🤍

Recovery days matter just as much for me as they do for the fellas❤️

Mental resets, intentional breathing, stretching, and slowing down help me recover from the week, too.

I’m grateful to @coach_p_herm_u for trusting me to pour into these young men, encouraging their engagement, and supporting the development of the whole athlete — on and off the field.

The goal is to equip them with practical tools and resources to support their health, mindset, and goals beyond the game.

Most of all have fun & just be present with no pressure💙

One more week of regular season, then it’s PLAYOFF TIME! 🏈

Let’s finish strong.
Stay focused.
Take care of ourselves along the way.

Rest. Reset. Recover. Refocus 🙏🏽💪🏾💫

Awakened souls move differently✨

They carry a servant spirit, often feeling called to pour into others, offer support, and show up in ways that go unseen.

But even a giving spirit can become drained when it gives too much without replenishment.

Learn to protect your energy. Guard your peace. Honor your need to disconnect.

You cannot pour from an empty cup. Make time to step back, unplug from the noise, reconnect with yourself, and restore your spirit.

Remember: protecting your peace is not selfish; it’s necessary. Give yourself permission to rest, recharge, and pour into yourself as deeply as you pour into others🤍

1.5 years of pushing through, living by the hustle & grind mentality, and allowing it to take a toll on my nervous system and health.

But we ain’t got time for that anymore. ✋🏽

It’s taken just as long to start breaking the cycle of perfectionism and learning that I don’t have to earn my rest.

Because when we’re under constant stress (and let’s be real, LIFE IS LIFE), our bodies can feel the effects. Our digestion, nervous system, sleep, and hormones involved in the stress response can all be affected.

So where do we start?

✨ Acknowledge the unhealthy relationship we’ve developed with society’s expectations of productivity, perfection, and always being “on.”

✨ Choose ONE small step toward doing things differently.

✨ Give ourselves permission to prioritize our health without feeling guilty about it.

And let’s talk about GUT HEALTH. 🌱

It’s one important piece of our overall well-being, and sometimes we need support as we work toward healthier habits.

That’s why I’m spearheading a 21-Day Wellness Movement this November! 🤎

We’re focusing on small, intentional steps toward feeling better—not perfection, not pressure, and definitely not another hustle.

Because old habits and the hustle mentality don’t have to follow us into winter.

We’re entering our ✨ PROTECT YOUR PEACE & PRIORITIZE YOUR HEALTH ✨ season.

Who’s ready to do this differently?

Let’s make this next season about taking care of ourselves, together. 🌿

May nature continue to give of herself freely, so that we remember to take care of this Earth and all that it continues to provide.

There’s something about the RHYTHM OF RAIN that can invite us to slow down. Its STEADY, predictable SOUND can feel calming to the nervous system and create a NATURAL cue to PAUSE, BREATHE, and BECOME present.

So today, let the rain remind you:

You don’t have to rush✨
You don’t have to carry everything✨
You can simply pause and reset✨

May the rain wash away what you no longer need to carry and RESTORE you to a place of PEACE, PRESENCE , and HUMILITY in this thug we call life🌿

Sometimes we give other people’s opinions more authority than they were ever meant to have.💫

We abandon parts of ourselves trying to be understood💫

We mistake being rooted for staying the same.💫

And we forget that changing our pace doesn’t mean we’ve lost our purpose.

Maybe being rooted isn’t about standing still.
Maybe it’s about knowing what is yours—even while you grow, change, and move differently. 🌿

Save this for the days you need the reminder.

This week has been a lot 🌿

A lot of emotions.
A lot of triggers.
A lot of noise.

As we step into October, here’s your reminder:

You don’t have to absorb everything around you.

Unplug.
Take a breath.
Step away when you need to.
Protect your peace.
Be intentional about what you give your energy to.

October, let’s take care of ourselves — mind, body, and mental wellbeing. 🌿

You are allowed to pause. You are allowed to reset.
