A reminder that Michael Jackson is the reason why the Super Bowl halftime show exists 🏈

Michael Jackson performed during halftime of a 52-17 Dallas Cowboys win over the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVII on January 31, 1993 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California 🏟️

Was this the greatest Super Bowl show of all time?

Football is more than just a game ❤️⚽️ In 2007, Didier Drogba ended a 5 year civil war in Cote d’Ivoire by scoring a goal that helped Ivory Coast beat Madagascar 🇨🇮

He asked that the game be played in Bouake, a rebel stronghold, then got on his knees & pleaded with rebels to drop their arms, and they did.

Not all heroes wear capes 🙏

More than just a game. ⚽ Amidst conflict and displacement, families in Khan Younis, Gaza, gather around a makeshift dirt pitch to watch a friendly football match. A powerful testament to the community’s resilience and enduring hope.

In November 1999, a 21-year-old Kobe Bryant was pursuing a brief rap career under Sony. Across the hall, 17-year-old Vanessa Laine was working as a background model.

The ultimate competitor instantly met his match. Kobe later admitted he spent the entire two-day shoot constantly inventing excuses to leave his trailer just so he could talk to her between takes.

Six months later, they were engaged.

They shared over 20 years of marriage and built a beautiful family. Following the tragic 2020 crash that took Kobe and their daughter Gianna, Vanessa has fiercely preserved their legacy through the Mamba & Mambacita SPORTS Foundation.

Cadillac’s global design team turned the fluid motion of a golf swing into a frozen visual sculpture for the 2026 Cadillac Championship. 🏆✨

It stands 50 cm tall, perfectly traces the physical rhythm of a swing, and frames a hidden golf club silhouette right in the center empty space. Art meets athletics. 📐🏌️‍♂️

The yellow U18 armband is a visual reminder that the person officiating the match is under the age of 18. They are out there gaining experience, learning the game, and doing a tough job. 💛⚽
