Introducing our Biko Serye ✨

@ourdailybrew757 and I came up with something special to share with you guys at Ligaya Fest!

Inspired by Biko, a beloved Filipino dessert we grew up eating, made with sticky rice, coconut milk, and brown sugar. It’s also dairy free/vegan!

Choose between matcha or coffee, poured over milk infused with our house-made biko syrup for a rich, caramel-like sweetness with warm coconut notes. Each drink is finished with a coating of biko syrup around the cup and a piece of authentic Filipino biko on top of a banana leaf, lovingly made by @ourdailybrew757 🤎

We also have plenty of other Filipino-inspired specials on our menu that we couldn’t leave out! 🇵🇭 Each drink is inspired by childhood memories, familiar flavors, and the little pieces of home we love sharing with you all.

We can’t wait to share these flavors with you while celebrating alongside so many amazing local vendors!

@ligayafest hosted by @AgendaVA
📍310 Edwin Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23462 (Mt. Trashmore)
🗓️ Saturday, October 24
⏰ 11 AM – 4:30 PM

Hope to see you there!

Romanticizing matcha through my lens ✨🙂‍↔️

For those who don’t know, I loooove photography 📸 I’ve always enjoyed it, but when I was working in the hospital, it was hard to keep up with as a business.

God has blessed me with so many passions, but for the longest time, the lies of the enemy made me feel like I couldn’t fully pursue them.

Now, I’m so grateful I get to do EVERYTHING I love through Rooted ♥️ Spreading God’s Word, making matcha, creating through photography, building community, and creating a space where people feel seen and reminded that they matter.

I’ve only lived here for 7 years and spent most of that time working, so I never really knew that many people. Thank you to everyone who has supported my small business with big dreams from the Philippines and Guam 🇵🇭🇬🇺🫶🏼

It truly means more than you know. Thank you for letting me share my faith, culture, and passions with you 🤍 God is so good.
