It was in this moment, while staring at the volcanos across Lake Atitlán & swinging on the silks…I realized I wanted to teach yoga ✨

Teaching with @puppy_yogaclub has me falling in love so easily with every dog but yesterday I think I met my soul dog…who thinks I should take her home?

Solstice in Times Square is one of my favorite days of the year. Learning to turn off your mind in the middle of madness is truly something special. Thank you @timessquarenyc & @patrickfrancojr for leading us through a beautiful class 🙏🏼✨

For two years I would do headstands almost everyday but I have not practiced in a long time. After class, I wanted to see if I could easily get up like I used to…but I was struggling. Michelle @bombayroomyoga graciously tried to help me find my balance again…I still was not able do it. Afterwards I could not stop thinking about it…”I did headstands everyday, how could I not do it anymore…I’ll try again tomorrow”
.
.
.
The next day, after she led another beautiful restorative inner work class…I tried again, determined. I took what she taught me, applied it…and was able to get back to dancing on my head. That “aha” moment felt so good.
.
.
.
Yoga is so much more than we think it is. The mat is your mirror. Each time you step on it or dance on your head…you discover something new about yourself. I am forever grateful to @bombayroomyoga for creating such a one of a kind & welcoming space, and to all of my teachers, and my teachers teachers🫶
