I'm looking for a few first readers. 💙

Before 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 & 𝘉𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘓𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘴 arrives on December 8, I'm opening the door for a small group of readers to experience the complete book early.

This book is for anyone who's ever had to make sense of a life that didn't turn out quite the way they imagined. It's a book of daily reminders about healing, resilience, self-worth, and finding beauty in places we never expected.

If that sounds like something you'd enjoy reading, I'd love to invite you.

Selected readers will receive a 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆 of 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 & 𝘉𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘓𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘴. Honest reviews are appreciated, but never required.

𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁?

💙 Comment 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 below, and I'll send you the application link directly.

No purchase necessary. Just an invitation to read something that might stay with you.

If you're new here, welcome. 🤎

I write about the things we feel but don't always know how to say: the relationships that shape us, the patterns we've normalized, things that hurt, things that heal, and the choices that help us find our way forward.

No. I don't have all the answers. And I'm not interested in pretending I do.

But I do believe the right words can help us see something differently. And sometimes, seeing differently is where changing differently begins.

I’m K.D. Gates. Stay rooted. Live well.™

A little about what I believe, and what you can expect to find here. If it resonates, stay awhile. 🤎

I'm not saying to never fall apart. I'm saying that if you do, don't stay in pieces. Because falling apart is an experience, not an identity.

Sometimes, the problem isn't that you've become difficult. It's that you've become willing to disagree. Just something to think about.

Trusting that what falls away isn't always a loss. Sometimes, it's how life makes room for what's new.

Sometimes despair isn't the absence of hope. It's an inability to see that hope is still there.

Not because it left. But because in the middle of your blue-lemon season, it can be hard to find.

Telll me, where has hope felt hard to see for you lately.

Save this if you needed the reminder.

Also, more of these reflections are in Life & Blue Lemons (preorder link in bio) and in the free resources on my site.

P.S. Comment BLUE and I'll send you a 20-page PDF of the book's first chapter. 💙 by @rootedwithkd

Just something to think about.

You postpone your life. But time keeps moving. Tell me: What are you waiting for to start living? Just something to think about. ♥️

I may have given love that was never returned. But I refuse to believe that makes my love a loss. There's something extraordinary about having love to give, even when it’s not received.
