Kudos to the moms who fast and choose their health over their cravings. True champions! 🏆

This post was inspired by a friend who asked what teas she could have while fasting. Herbal teas are fine during a regular fast, as long as they do not contain fruit or berries and you do not add sweetener or milk.
A few examples: peppermint may soothe your stomach, chamomile can support relaxation, ginger may help with digestion, and rooibos is naturally caffeine-free.

It got me thinking about all of us moms who make delicious food for our kids and still say, “Nope, this is not for me. I’ll wait until Thursday.” 😆

I have done this many times, and my mom friends often come to me for simple tips along the way. I am a big believer in fasting, and sometimes tea can be your friend in those tough moments when you need a little something.

🌸💕 Happy 1st Birthday to my sweet Tatum Rose 💞💐

It is crazy how fast this past year has flown by, but truly, this has been one of the most enjoyable years of my life.

This child is different. She has completely stolen our hearts. All four of us are absolutely obsessed with her. 💗 She is cuddly, sweet, funny, and loves all of us so much.

She is especially attached to Mama, and she LOVES our co-sleeping arrangement, where her crib has basically become a very expensive bed for her stuffed animals. 😆🌸

Exactly one year ago, at 12:34, she made the wildest and most unexpected entrance into this world. We never made it to the hospital because Miss Tatum decided she was being born at home. 😆 What followed was quite the grand entrance with ambulances 🚑, police 🚔, fire trucks 🚒, and sirens 🚨 everywhere.

Probably the easiest, wildest, and most unforgettable birth ever. 💕

And now she is ONE. 🥹🌸

Today is also our 17th wedding anniversary @pgagolfdad by @rootlyorganics

We came a long way.

Imagine this: a small shelf with two tinctures on it. Immuni and Para Candi Kicker. That is where we started.

Then customers kept asking. “Do you have something for sleep?” “Can you make one for my liver?” “I love the tea, but I need something I can take on the go.”

So we listened. And we built, one request at a time. So what is a tincture?

A tincture is an herbal extract. We steep organic herbs for weeks in alcohol or vegetable glycerin (we call that a glycerite). That slow soak draws out the plant’s natural compounds so the herbs are ready to use whenever you are.
