POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After 3.5 months of building from morning till evening, I’m now the proud owner of my dream tiny home on wheels 🥰🚌🌿

I’ve been travelling solo in my campervan “Frodo” for nearly 3 months now and I’m still madly in love with this cosy space I’ve created! Many times during the conversion build it felt like this day would never come, so diving him around Europe this summer has felt extra magical 🤎

There’s a full van tour on my channel if you’re interested! ☺️🙏

Time for a little re-intro to celebrate uploading a full tour of my campervan “Frodo” 🥰🤎

Frodo is my second campervan and I spent 3.5 months converting it this spring and summer with the help of my partner (he’s a superstar and simultaneously helped his mum convert her first van too!). Now I’ve been travelling solo and full time around Europe for the last two months 🤎

This lifestyle isn’t always easy, but nothing will ever beat the beauty and simplicity I’ve been blessed with since going down this path. I’m grateful to the past version of myself who got fed up working impossibly hard just to give all her money to landlords and faceless corporates and be left with the bare minimum to live. The person who decided to take a big risk. It’s definitely been the most beautiful two years of my life so far, and for the first time I can actually say that I’m consciously and genuinely living.

I posted a 30-minute detailed tour of my van over on my channel, hope you enjoy it 🙏 Which corner of Frodo is your favourite? 🤎

Moments from my newest video, a quiet autumn week living in my van in the mountains 🤎

In my first year of travelling solo I’ve felt uneasy about staying in one place for two long, but for the last couple of months I’ve been mostly in the same area, growing familiar with the mountains, streams and wildlife. Maybe it’s part of getting older but I’ve been really craving the feeling of growing roots somewhere. So parking my van here and spending my days foraging, hiking and cooking with local ingredients has felt really peaceful and nourishing 🥰

Autumn is on its way here in the Shire and we can’t wait 🌞🍂

There’s a chill in the air now as we wait for the sun to rise behind the hills, the evenings are dark save for the moon and stars illuminating our path, and the woodland floor is covered in fallen leaves crunching beneath our feet. Normally I feel sad about summer ending, but after many weeks of heat we are so excited for the changing of the seasons this year 🌙🍁

Happy Hobbit Day! 👩🏻‍🌾 Slow autumn days cooking and baking foraged foods in my tiny travelling hobbit home on wheels… what more could a girl ask for 🤎🍄‍🟫🍂

Didn’t even realise it was hobbit day until someone told me in the comments! I must’ve felt it subconsciously when I decided to post this reel 😂

What’s your favourite thing about autumn?

Moments from my newest video, hiding away in my cosy campervan in the woods as autumn arrives 🤎🍂

A lot has been happening behind the scenes with the potential property purchase, so I felt the need to drive somewhere quiet and just exist for a few days, spending my time hiking, cooking and baking in the early autumn sun.

Last days of summer, camping in the quiet corners of the Dolomites and… ON MY DREAM PROPERTY 🥹

Last week I finally heard back from the agent about the piece of land I’ve been dreaming about since May, and this week Risi and I finally went to visit it together. He loves it just as much as I do, however after attempting to camp on the property we were chased off by wild boar 😂 More in my new video on my channel “Roots in the Wild” which is linked on my page!

Lots of sunrise and sunset hikes to escape the late summer heat 🌞

Exploring the unknown corners of the Dolomites…

Reuniting with my love after a few weeks apart 💞

It’s been 30 degrees every day so we’ve been finding lots of secret river and waterfall spots to cool down

Before Risi arrived I explored a different corner of these mountains, and we looked at another property here!

Exploring the many beautiful hiking trails around our dream property 🤎

Getting ready to sleep on the property before we were chased off by wild boar 😂

Lots of river dips to stay cool…

…and finding new favourites places every day

We could live here 🤎

Views from what might be my future garden 😭

My secret to having Europe’s most epic trails ALL to myself is an early alarm and my @insta360 Ace Pro 2 which allows me to document any adventure 📸 (ad)

The Ace Pro 2 captures a lot of detail and focuses reliably even when it’s almost completely dark. On this hike I left at 5am and could barely see in the dark without my lantern, and I was amazed at how much was visible in the footage. It’s also super easy to carry and waterproof, so I can take it on any outdoor adventure 🥰

Get your Insta360 Ace Pro 2 via the link in my bio and use my code INRSGCD3EDM at checkout 🤎
