Child’s Pose isn’t giving up. It’s knowing when to rest. 🤍

I’m learning that strength isn’t always about pushing harder. Sometimes strength is knowing when to be still, breathe, listen to your body, and give yourself permission to rest.

Rest doesn’t mean I’m quitting.
It means I’m honoring where I am today so I can keep moving forward tomorrow.

At 58, I’m learning that slowing down can be just as powerful as pushing through. 🌿

listened to the remarks. I heard the context. I understand the context.

And I don’t care.

Suggesting that Iran bomb Los Angeles or San Diego, even rhetorically, is completely unacceptable. Period.

I lived in California. I raised my children in Northern California. I have friends and family in Southern California. These aren’t just names on a map or political talking points. They are communities filled with people we love.

I don’t care if it was a joke. I don’t care if it was hypothetical. I don’t care if he “didn’t really mean it.” There are some things that should never be said.

Words matter. Leadership matters. Character matters.

A beautiful fall weekend celebrating love. 🍂❤️

Almost a year after Marley and Laura quietly said “I do,” we gathered with family and friends to celebrate them.

Surrounded by the colors of fall bursting all around us, we filled the weekend with bike rides, hiking, games, good food, laughter, and simply being together.
