I started my coaching journey back in 2022 at a small rural high school (where I also teach). This is a much belated post but some of my seniors from last year put their money together to buy me this custom glove. I had zero clue that they were doing this… it just showed up on my desk one day. Now it’s no secret that I’ve owned plenty of gloves in the past (hence my IG page) but this has to be the most sentimental one of them all. For us coaches out there, we’ve all been through the peaks and valleys that coaching brings but it’s gestures like these that go to show the positive impact that we can make in these players’ lives. Baseball is truly an amazing game and I feel honored to still be a part of it in any capacity that I can. by @ropo_gloves

If I were to construct my perfect glove using any era, any leather, any colorway… this would probably be it. This has horween tan leather from 2012, split gray welting, red embroidery, a pinky patch… all of my favorite glove components . If I were to make a change, I would probably switch from an NP5 to a 206 and webswap to an h-web, but beggars can’t be choosers.
