It’s a dream come true to see them life-sized… Bleach is the manga that made me think, “One day, I’ll go to Japan and become a mangaka.”

Mic drop. 🎤⬇️

At 17, I fell for BTS and dreamed of being in a group, training side by side, chasing the same spotlight.

The group ended.
The dream didn’t.

At 24, I started hip hop because K-pop classes didn’t exist in my small Italian town.

Now I’m in Japan — the country my 14-year-old self only saw through anime screens.

She dreamed it.
I’m living it.

After chasing the dream of a manga university and facing the bitter truth — that without a five-figure bank account my visa would never be renewed — I had to wake up.🥀
So I’m choosing a new chapter.
Between K-pop vibes and modeling lights, I’m rewriting my story in Tokyo.🗼

I am extremely lucky but I also...

worked as a waitress during my degree soi could actually eat and survive

studied japanese for the last 3 years so I could find a proper job

I'm definitely lucky and priviledged to be living this life
many things are possible if you have enough money
but some aren’t unless you actually put some effort.

本日、東京ビッグサイトで開催された
ISI日本語学校主催の年末イベント
和フェス盆踊りにて発表をしました。
最初は少し不安もありましたが、
「挑戦してみて」という先生方の言葉と、
友人やクラスメートの温かい応援のおかげで、
この特別な一日を心から楽しむことができました。
着物を着て、日本の伝統文化に触れ、
この場所に立てたことは
私にとって忘れられない思い出です。
I’m truly grateful to everyone who supported me.
I hope to take part again next year
and continue experiencing Japanese traditions.
Spero di poter partecipare anche il prossimo anno
e di avere ancora tante occasioni
per indossare il kimono
ed entrare sempre più a fondo
nella tradizione giapponese ☆ミ

I feel like I don’t have the right to be sad, disappointed, or discouraged just because I’m in Japan.
But it’s an inner struggle between the two sides of my personality.

Then the anxiety fades, and I think about how lucky I am to be in the place I’ve dreamed of since I was a child, studying a language that makes me feel like I’m inside an anime and being able to develop my manga in the neighborhoods of Tokyo.

日本にいるというだけで、悲しんだり、失望したり、落ち込んだりする権利が自分にはないように感じます。
でも、それは私の性格の二つの面の間で起こる内面的な葛藤です。
それから不安がおさまると、子どもの頃からずっと夢見てきた場所にいられること、アニメの中にいるような気持ちで言語を学べること、そして東京の街で自分の漫画を描けることの幸運を思い出します。
