It’s hard to believe this day is actually here. For the past 10 years, this place has been my second home,my constant, my safe space, my heart. I’ve grown up in this family. From playing THE hot cocoa elf, to stepping into the shoes of Anna, to bringing Adelaide to life, and now closing this chapter as one of my all time favorite girls, Rusty, every role has meant something deeply personal. Each one was more than just a character, they were little pieces of me stitched together over these years.

This place has been more than just a stage. It’s where I learned how to speak up. How to be brave. How to take risks and fall in love with the act of storytelling. It’s where I learned that performing isn’t just about entertaining, it’s about connecting. It’s about being part of something bigger than yourself. It’s about making someone in the audience feel seen, heard, and understood, even just for a moment.

I’ve made friendships here that feel like soul ties. The kind of friends who cheer the loudest when you shine, who hold your hand when things get hard, and who make you laugh until you can’t breathe. These people have become my home in ways I never expected but always needed.

I don't wanna get too sappy, but there was a time when I felt completely lost. I wasn't truly confident on what I wanted to do with my life. But somehow, I found my way back here. And in doing that, I found myself again. I found purpose in making people feel something. I realized that theater wasn't just about performing to me. In the back of my mind I felt if I could help someone forget their own pain for a few minutes, or make them smile when they didn’t think they could, that’s enough for me.

So yeah, leaving this place feels like leaving a piece of my heart behind. It hurts more than I can explain. But I also know that no matter how far I go, this place will always be a part of me. The lessons, the laughter, the love, it’s all coming with me.

Thank you for shaping me, for holding me, for giving me a place to belong. I’ll never forget it. I love you all so so much. by @rorysummitt
