I've decided I'm going to treat Instagram like it's 2010 again.

Everyday is not, and will not be, highlight reels, but embracing the mundane, the boring, is what makes life feel worth living.

It's not everyday I'm going on a hike, travelling, get a new job/opportunity etc. Most days I'm in the office, wanting to get the heck out of there at 10am - taking a selfie to pass away the time, and making the most of what I got. And that's okay.

In all things, I'm grateful.

So if you start seeing old photos pop up, or even food pics, you know what it is!

'I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.' - Philippians 4:12-13.

⬆️ Includes surviving a boring day at work.

Why do I do this podcast?

To use the things of this world to expose all to the One True God. To the nature of God and his perfect design for mankind. To be like Paul when he proclaimed;

“Men of Athens, I notice that you are very religious in every way, for as I was walking along I saw your many shrines. And one of your altars had this inscription on it: ‘To an Unknown God.’ This God, whom you worship without knowing, is the one I’m telling you about.

“He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples, and human hands can’t serve his needs—for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need. From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries.

“His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’

And since this is true, we shouldn’t think of God as an idol designed by craftsmen from gold or silver or stone.

“God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.”

2025 surprised me.

In the worst, and in the best ways. May 2025 me would have called 'cut' on the year but look, we made it, smiling, and thriving ✌🏾😊 by @ros.akpene

Meet Savv ✨💁🏾‍♀️

Well, you might have met her before but she didn't have a name - she's the type font I created - now in a pop-up book!

There's no grand story behind this one. I was out one day, saw a pop-up book and thought, "Yeah. I'll try my hand at this one!" And here she is!

She's a little wonky and could do with some more work, but I hope you enjoy my exploration and she brings you a little joy!

Try new stuff, let people see your work and all that 😬

Some of ya'll may know, I have a podcast!

I've been on hiatus but it's looking like I'm back 😬

I can't really call these full length 'podcasts'. Their more like sound bites to encourage you on your journey of faith.

So go forth and be encouraged.
