POV: your nervous system reset includes fresh air, a good walk, and a little time on the green ⛳️🤍

Come with me to the green!!! ⛳️✨

One way I like to reset is honing in on a skill — and this season, it’s golf. 🤍

Working on my half swings and learning that power doesn’t always come from forcing things. Sometimes it comes from slowing down, refining the fundamentals, and trusting the process.

There’s something so grounding about focusing on one movement, one breath, one swing at a time.

One thing about nervous system regulation is that rest doesn’t always mean doing nothing.

Sometimes it looks like: slowing your thoughts down enough to focus on one thing, moving your body with intention, being outside, learning something new, and giving your brain somewhere healthier to land.

The course has quietly become one of my favorite reset spaces lately — structured enough to focus, calm enough to breathe. 🌿

Also, shoutout to the brands and women that got me stepping onto the course in my full element: polished, confident, bad & bougie ⛳️🤍

POV: You finally stopped romanticizing burnout and started choosing peace instead ✨🌸

An enchanting evening at the Bridgerton Candlelight Concert at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City 🕯️🎻💗

Some seasons aren’t about doing more.
They’re about slowing down long enough to feel like yourself again.

Sometimes healing looks like romanticizing your life a little… dressing up for no reason, listening to beautiful music, grounding in grass, breathing deeper, and allowing softness back in. 💕

This reset moment felt even more special wrapped in a gown by Teuta Matoshi — a brand I deeply admire not only for their breathtaking artistry, but for creating handcrafted pieces made by local women artisans in Kosovo through intentional craftsmanship and sustainable production.

In a world of fast fashion, supporting artistry, elegance, and meaningful craftsmanship feels incredibly special. ✨️

On Wednesday, I had the privilege of serving as a panelist for the University of Utah's Juneteenth Commemoration hosted by the Center for Community and Cultural Engagement.

This year's theme was Freedom Remembered. Justice Pursued. Hope Renewed.

One perspective I shared was that Juneteenth reminds us there is a difference between passing a law and realizing its promise.

The Emancipation Proclamation was issued in 1863, yet more than 250,000 enslaved people in Texas remained enslaved until 1865, when the law was finally enforced.

Laws can establish rights and protections on paper, but their promises are only realized when people are willing to uphold, enforce, and act on them.

Words matter. Action is what gives them power.

Thank you to the University of Utah, the Center for Community and Cultural Engagement, my fellow panelists, and everyone who joined the conversation.

Grateful for the opportunity to be part of it.

One thing I’ve learned about nervous system regulation is that rest doesn’t always mean doing nothing.

Sometimes it looks like slowing your thoughts down enough to focus on one thing. Moving your body with intention. Being outside. Learning something new. Giving your brain somewhere healthier to land.

For me, the golf course has quietly become one of those places. ⛳🤍

Not because golf is magical. Not because it makes stress disappear.

But because it asks me to be present.

One breath. One swing. One moment at a time.

When your body has spent too long in survival mode, regulation often begins with creating environments that feel safe enough for your system to soften.

The goal isn't to do less. It's to do more of what supports you.

What’s one place or activity that helps you come back to yourself? 🌿

Never Have I Ever... realized my body was stuck in survival mode....

You're clapping back faster.

You can't sleep.

You're exhausted but somehow still wired.

Your habits haven't changed... but your body has.

And no one talks about how chronic stress can completely change the way you feel in your own body.

So we're talking about it.

Welcome to the Never Have I Ever series

Your body was never meant to operate in constant survival mode. 🌿

Sometimes what we call “being stressed” is actually a nervous system that’s been overloaded for too long.

If you’ve been feeling:

• exhausted but unable to fully rest
• mentally “on” all the time
• reactive, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained
• like even simple things take more effort lately
…your body may be asking for support, not more pressure.

Healing isn’t always about doing more.... by @rosajey33

Chronic stress doesn’t just affect your mind — it changes how your body functions too.

Sleep, energy, focus, hormones, digestion, mood… your body keeps the score of what it’s been carrying.

The good news?

Your nervous system can learn safety again.

Your body can regulate again.

And healing doesn’t have to begin with pressure, perfection, or pushing harder.

Small, steady support matters. 🌿
