GEN Z TOOK OVER - ROSALUX GOT SLIMED For their third exhibition “obligation - slime edition”, young curator and DJ Duo Confessionistas (Alice Michel & Martha dos Santos Domingos) transformed ROSALUX into an interactive space. Visitors were obligated to make their way through a room full of slime to see the exhibition. Featuring three young female artists: Romy Randel (photography): _Wie jeden Tag_ Tess Haverney (sculpture): _plop plop_ Lya Sandoval Mendes (Virtual Reality 3D Video): Somewhere Not So Far Away The grand finale? Confessionistas behind the decks, turning the slimy space into a collectiv performance. Bodies moving, beats dropping, slime squelching. Art wasn’t just something to look at. It was something to step into, to move through, and become part of. Durden & Ray and ROSALUX present ‘FUTURE ANTERIOR’ Part of B-LA-M, art exchange created to deepen the relationships between the independent art scenes of Berlin, Los Angeles & Mexico City Opening reception: 7-10 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2026 Run of show: October 31 - November 21, 2026 Hours: Saturdays, noon-5 p.m. Closes: November 21, 2026 Curated by Gul Cagin, Tiny Domingos, Snežana Saraswati Petrović, Dylan Ricards, Curtis Stage Artists: Carlos Beltrán Arechiga, Ismael de Anda III, Arezoo Bharthania, Gul Cagin, Francisco Diego, Tiny Domingos, Stella Geppert, Jenny Hager, David Leapman, Hagop Najarian, Roger Paulino, Snežana Saraswati Petrović, primeira desordem (Hugo Gomes and João Marques), Dylan Ricards, Stephanie Sherwood, Curtis Stage, Reed van Brunschot, Steven Wolkoff FUTURE ANTERIOR transforms the gallery into a speculative space where scales, temporalities, and forms of existence collide. The project continues an international exchange between Durden and Ray and Rosalux. The project began in Berlin in 2024, continued with a collaboration with Nixxxon in Mexico City in 2025, and culminates in this exhibition at Durden and Ray in Los Angeles. This iteration further explores science fiction and the imagining of possible futures. The exhibition brings together works at two extremes: miniatures measuring no more than five inches in any dimension and monumental works measuring at least five feet in one dimension. Nothing in between. By removing the scale viewers typically see, the exhibition disrupts familiar proportions and asks what happens when the body is no longer the measure of the world. Artists are invited to consider scale beyond physical measurement through geological and evolutionary time, cultural memory, technological change, ecological transformation, and imagined futures. Works may appear ancient, alien, microscopic, monumental, archaeological, futuristic, intimate, or impossible. Drawing on speculative and posthuman thought, science fiction, and the ways Al constructs futures from fragments of the past, the gallery becomes a time machine where histories return, mutate, and become something else. by @rosaluxdotcom
Today’s feature is the third in our newly-(re)launched Artist-Led Q+A series, ROSALUX @rosaluxdotcom (Berlin) run by Tiny Domingos @tiny.domingos KZ: Is it sustainable? TD: No. Although there was this concern at the very beginning. KZ: Is it enough? TD: Definitely. ROSALUX is a polyphonic and inclusive space for work, exchange, and presentation. A place for questioning, collective imagination, and decentring. A place for art research, new methodologies, and artistic languages. A space offering visibility to artistic practices off the beaten track. ROSALUX believes in: – the inter- and transdisciplinary dialogue – the transformative potential of art and (post)humanism – the artist-led approach to worldbuilding, planetary health and futurity – the artist/curator as an inspiring emancipating force – artistic diplomacy to promote inclusion, solidarity, cooperation and encounter. (excerpt from the ROSALUX bio) This series focuses on off-/project-/artist-led spaces and otherwise difficult to label projects, and the people that keep them going. The goal is to highlight and chronicle such initiatives across the region, and the critical and often under-recognized role that these projects, collectives, spaces, and people play in the ecosystem of contemporary art. #mostmagazine #rosalux #cee #berlin #artistled by @rosaluxdotcom

A marble sculpture that lies down and lets air and light pass through. Last week in Berlin. Marie-France Brière’s Avalanche Effect breaks with the classic vertical block on a plinth: the stone rests on a perforated steel support. Its surface and forms recall erosion and the quarrying of stone. Finissage this Saturday, 17 Oct, 3-7 pm, with the artist and Tiny Domingos. Finissage am Samstag, 17.10., 15-19 Uhr, in Anwesenheit der Künstlerin. Save this for your next sculpture trip, or send it to someone who loves stone. Avalanche Effect, 2026. Marble and steel, 108 × 44 × 74 cm. „Épigraphe“, curated by Jean-Michel Quirion. ROSALUX, Wriezener Str. 12, Berlin-Wedding #ContemporarySculpture #Marble #Berlin by @rosaluxdotcom

· · · Centre CLARK is a proud partner of the exhibition 𝑅𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑟𝑎𝑢𝑚 by member-artist Morgan Legaré, presented at ROSALUX in Berlin, Germany, from April 25 to May 24, 2025. This project is a production of Centre SAGAMIE, resulting from Legaré’s research-creation residency last January for the development of this body of work. This initiative fosters a sharing of resources and perspectives between organizations, thereby strengthening the international artistic networks of both CLARK and SAGAMIE. [...] The structure erected in the center of the gallery operates as a portal to interrelated interstices: from inside to outside, from unstable to graspable, from imperceptible to visible. Through modeled plans with illusionistic effects arranged on a support specific to architects' plans, a sort of material stimulus, Legaré alters the perception of Berlin visitors through sleight of hand. [...] — Jean-Michel Quirion The exhibition also received support from the Québec Government Office in Germany. by @rosaluxdotcom
