The people around you will shape you more than any strategy ever will. They will help you make you and shape your mind and most important is your passion. Because passion attract the right people. I used to think building something meant doing it alone. Proving I could. Now I know the opposite is true, I do shoot alone some of my content for myself but most shoot, every project, every step forward has been shaped by someone who showed up for me.Here’s what I’ve learned about the people you let in:→ The ones who believe in you before the proof exists are rare. Keep them close.→ Talent gets you in the room. How you treat people decides if you’re invited back.→ Be the friend who shows up, with feedback, with food, with energy. I planned every frame of this before I left Helsinki. And that’s exactly why it worked.Every experienced creator has their own signature style, the way they move, pose, the light they chase, the feeling their content always has. You develop that over time. But even when you know your style, you still need a starting point for each trip.Always know what you want to shoot before you go. Pinterest is your best friend for this, not to copy, but to get inspired and remind yourself what you’re drawn to. Let that shape your moodboard and your brief.Then when you’re on location, your style takes over naturally.This is What i do 01 - Create a moodboard02 - Scout your locations beforehand03 - Check the weather (trust me, shooting in the rain is not fun specially when you have expensive gear)04 - Script your workflowSolo or with a full team, it doesn’t matter. 6 months of training. My first half marathon. Even if it was snowing or raining. Even it was cloudy and ground was frozen and icy 🥶 What a luck, I go sick the week before the race. I rested till the very day. Went to starting line anyway. And almost swooned when the fevery feeling flew back in my body and I had to stop 🫠 you can imagine that feeling of failing yourself after training so hard for this. I watched everyone pass me. It hurted the way I didn’t expect. Bought ticket to next years full marathon. We are not giving up we will go harder! There is still half marathon on beach on October. Three days rest. Then straight to the studio. I’m not giving up on my dreams or my goals.Failing the race didn’t change who I’m becoming. It just reminded me. I’m not done. Finding the perfect work / life balance 🤍Kun treeni, palautuminen ja ilo löytävät tasapainon. I was born to create.As a kid, I lived in my own world. drawing for hours, building imaginary kingdoms, always reading. even selling my little cartoon stories in my neighborhood for 2€.That creativity never left.It evolved.From drawing → to photography → to vlogging.Traveling, capturing moments, learning how to see.I started shooting people.Friends. Strangers. Models from clubs.Learning by doing.Then fashion came in.I studied fashion design. Stepped into startups.Tried YouTube. Tried different paths.But everything shifted when I found bikini fitness. and met someone who pushed me to take myself seriously.For the first time, I allowed myself to be seen.I wasn’t seen much as a child. I was silenced and put in my rooms .every time I tried be seen. and I realize now, it’s something that shaped my creativity deeply.Not just behind the camera…but in front of it too.That was 4 years ago.And for the past year,I’ve been building something quietly behind the scenes:Chante CreativeA creative studio focused on storytelling and visual direction,working with brands, creatives like photographers, makeup artists…turning ideas into visuals that actually connect.I don’t just create content.I build stories. I plan, direct, and bring ideas to life.And I love working with people who want to create something meaningful.It’s still evolving.Still growing.But the feedback has been strong.And this year, I’m building it with a mentor.We can’t know what’s coming next.but I know one thing:I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. One month out from my half marathon.Today we were training in Fressi Vuosaari @fressiclubhouse Helsinki. And for the first time in a while… running feels good again.With consistent and progressing training, and good recovery equipments , there is no more pain Learning that what you do after the run matters just as much as the run itself.AD @fressi.fi has been a big part of that, giving me the space to recover, reset, and keep going building my strenght and giving programs to help.Fressi is now offering running program for those interested in starting running for free 😍Let’s see what happens in 4 weeks.Have you ever had to rebuild your body from zero or are you prepping for half marathon / other event? #fressi #fressiclubhouse #halfmarathonprep #myday by @rosasantez
