Feeling uplifted by my village and grateful for my family and chosen family! A special shoutout to my sisters who couldn’t be there but made me the most beautiful poster to cheer me on spiritually haha 🤗🥰💕
Shoutout to my incredible husband, who stayed up late yesterday making the most delicious oatmeal for breakfast and a beautiful poster for me 🥹 I just adore you and have the biggest crush on you. 🤭💕
Finally, a big shoutout to the most supportive and loving friends a girl could ask for. Love you all so much 💕 Thank you for being there for me either in person or spiritually sending me all the positive energy.

🦜& mapachita honeymoon 2022 🥰🤗 Forever remembered as the save the baby turtles trip. On our way out of the restaurant, we saw a lost baby turtle near the road that led to a save the babies rescue mission. The baby turtles had just hatched and were confusing the restaurant lights for the moon. 🥹🥹 taken in St. Croix, Virgin Islands by @rose1391

We have an announcement to share with our loved ones. After 7 years of stress, pain, arduous labor, our baby is here!

Today cannot end without me publicly celebrating my husband for successfully defending his dissertation. Jack, la luz de mis ojos, I’ve seen you work relentlessly on your PhD for the last 7 years. I’ve had the honor to have a first row seat to witnessing your determination, mental fortitude and the sacrifices you’ve made to obtain this degree.

I’ll never forget the days when you were too focused to even stop to eat so I’d spoon feed you so you could keep going. The times when you struggled and were at your lowest but I was there to hold your hand and help you find solutions. I feel grateful that I got to be your personal cheerleader and your shelter of love. I was able to cheer you on with smile on my face but only because you inspired that side of me to come out. In spite of all the PhD stress, you made me feel loved, cherished, seen, and heard. You had no time to waste but when you had a bit of time, you made my favorite lemon/ apple pancakes, created silly songs about me “mapachita,” (IYKYK) the Bad Bunny version that we’d sing out loud in the car 😂, packed me delicious chef-level lunches, made me protein dense oatmeal for my half marathon and 10 mile races with motivating notes, had impromptu slow dancing in the living room, and gave me an insane amount of kisses and hugs to me and our fury baby Maud. 🐶She also wants to say thank you! for all the belly rubs, squirrel chasing and frantic playful time at home. It feels so warm, cuddly, and enchanting being loved by you. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to do all the highs and lows of life with. I know that whatever comes after this, will only bring us closer. I love you Dr. Friedman! Bravo on your two biggest accomplishments, your PhD and getting me as your wife. 🎉 💕🤗

Feeling incredibly proud of you baby! The first day I dropped you off to your escuelita I was so excited for you to delve into this new adventure! It was a tough journey, of stress and overwhelming feelings! How could it not, this brilliant bebesota did this masters while working FULL TIME. In the morning she was a super star teacher smiling at everyone and filling buckets to 5 year olds and at night she was full time student. She’s basically ✨wonder women✨. I have the best colleague friends! Thank you so much for making me feel loved and appreciated. I love my community 💕 special thanks you to my comadre @lindseymarie22, who made the most delicious cake and muffins, and to the decoration team that stayed after school hours to make it happen! @melivent @veronicam412 @jezabelelvira and to the most supportive and caring AP @rosaberrocalphillips and @landa_elisa for organizing the bridal shower gift 💕.
