Alhamdulillah Rosebuds Sisters Harrow in collaboration with sister Atiya Saithna author of 'Beyond the Shadows of Memory' and Masjid Northwood Hills Community Centre delivered a valuable talk on Alzheimer’s and Dementia in recognition of the 'Worlds Alzheimer’s Month'.

A topic often brushed under the carpet, carrying stigma in many communities, sister Atiya explained how we can spot early signs and support those affected mentally, physically and spiritually.

Message below from our dear sister, CEO and Founder of Rosebuds Sisters, Aysha Bosher ❤️🌹❤️....

Assalamu’alaikum dear Sisters,

I wanted to share something incredibly special with our Rosebuds family.

I received a beautiful letter from the Mayor of London recognising 15 years of Rosebuds Sisters and the contribution our volunteers continue to make to Muslim women, families and communities.

But truly, this recognition belongs to all of you.

Every leader who gives her time. Every volunteer who shows up. Every sister who welcomes another sister. Every person who has played a part in helping Rosebuds grow over the last 15 years.

What began in 2011 has become something far bigger than I could ever have imagined, and I feel incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey.

Alhamdulillah. 🌹

May Allah place barakah in everything that has been built, accept every act of service, reward everyone who has contributed, and allow Rosebuds to continue benefiting our communities for many years to come. Ameen. 🤍
